The Vital Essentials Beef Tripe Freeze-Dried Dog Treats are made with Green Beef Tripe.
Most tripe products have quite a strong odor, especially in heat. What sort of smell do these have?

Overall, customers have not reported a strong odor with these treats however, smells are subjective to the individual. It is recommended to store freeze - dried products in a cool dark place, these are best if fed within 30 days after opening.
can this be used to supplement fresh or frozen tripe in a raw diet

The only dog treat you need! It's the best!

I have extremely picky dogs and puppies and Vital Essentials is all they will eat. I consider beef tripe essential for my dogs' diets and this is the only brand I get. If you could only buy one dog treat item for your dog, then it should be this. The ingredients are high quality, freeze dried and packed with nutrients. My vet noticed my dogs are looking healthy and their coat is extremely shiny after eating Vital Essentials. Highly recommend everyone to add these to your dog's diet. They also work as training treats. I have been buying these for years and will continue to do so. Definitely our favorite brand hands down! This is the best beef tripe compared to any other brand. I own a pet care business and I only buy and recommend Vital Essentials to my clients.

Great treats! Our Shepherd (and cats) love them!

Since our Shepherd goes crazy for the tripe wet food we've purchased from Chewy, I decided to give these treats a try. Our shepherd loves them, whether given as treats or used as a topper for her wet or dry food. Even our cats go crazy for them! I thought they'd be too hard for them, but dropped one by accident and our cat grabbed it and ran off to eat it, coming back for more! Great company, high quality product, and a win for all our pets! Will continue to purchase and highly recommend.

Better than wet food.

Though this is a dog product I got this for my cat. I've done the same with some of the other treets by vital essentials, so I figured I would give this a try. My cat loves this beef tripe. I put some in with her wet food. She will eat the beef tripe, and leave her wet food for later. The bag is not that big, so I only give her three or four in 1 meal.

Dog loves them

Dog loves these treats, especially the tripe flavor. I appreciate that they're small pieces (great for training) that don't break or crumble easily if they are in a bag or pocket, and they aren't stinky or greasy to handle.

Love These!

I love the Vital Essentials treats. They are a little pricey, but the ingredients - or lack thereof - are great. I use them for training and they are definitely high value to my pup. Love them.

Smell terrible but the dogs don't mind

These things smell absolutely awful. I can't even touch them, because the smell gets on my hands and make me sick. The dogs think they are fantastic though and tripe is supposed to have some pretty good benefits but I won't be buying these again. If you don't have a sensitive nose, then they are perfect for your dogs!!

These are a hit at my house!

I'm forever trying new treats for my small breed dogs, and unfortunately most new treats miss the mark. Not these! They were eagerly accepted by all 3. They are quite small and crunchy, but still easily eaten by one with some senior dental issues. No unpleasant odor was detected by me. Will definitely buy again.
