  • Good size bits for a small dog

    By on

The breeder of my Westie puppy had been feeding Vital Essentials so I purchased a bag before I brought him home. He loves it ,the pieces are small so it's easy on his puppy teeth and he's has had no digestive upsets .The only issue I have is that it is very expensive for a small sized bag which he goes through in a bit more than a week. It wouldn't be a problem if he were the only dog I have but I'm also feeding my other three adult dogs high quality food too. Although I really like the food ,as he grows I may be switching him over to something a little less budget busting.

  • Thumbs up for VE Freeze Dried Beef and Chicken

    By on

I have 8 dogs to feed. The VE raw beef and chicken nibs are just what I have been looking for. Unfortunately the cost is prohibitive for me to use as their full meals, so I pulverize the nibs in my coffee grinder and sprinkle on their regular food. They would eat cardboard if sprinkled with the ground up nibs. Wish I could afford to feed the nibs to them as their regular diet.

  • Love Vita Essentials

    By on

I was buying this brand locally and sometimes it wasn't fresh. But when I chose to try Chewy.com they had chicken flavor that most of the local stores no longer carried. I'm so happy to be able to get this chicken from Chewy.com

  • Vital Essentials

Wow, this is amazing stuff. My three little fuss pots would never want to eat. We had to coax them endlessly. Now they are eating voraciously no coaxing in fact now it's the opposite we have to keep telling them no no as they scratch their bowels for more. Daisey our little mini Dobie actual found a way to jump up on the counter to start eating while the food was dehydrating! She was the one who would never want to eat. Now you have to hold her back.

  • Excellent for treats in training!

    By on

My dogs loves this food. I don’t feed it for their daily food, but use it for training. They love the taste and the pieces are easy to give, and don’t get your hands messy OR your pockets!! The 1 pound package lasts me for 2-3 months depending on how much training I do. The dogs just go crazy over them, and I know that the product is high quality. The price for the quality is well worth it!

  • My dog loves Vita Esstentials!

    By on

My dog is 1 year old Multipoo and a very picky eater. She also had recent tummy problems and had to be put on bland canned food diet for a while. When trying to find a food she likes, I found Vita Essentials. She loves it. She eats every bite! I'm watching her tummy problems but she seems fine so far. I started with a small bag to try. Ordering more now! Highly recommend.

  • Excellent Product!

My little toy poodle, who is so picky with food, usually doesn't like anything (except treats). He can't live on treats. So I have looked and looked for something that he will eat. He has all kinds of food allergies as well. Vital Essentials is great! He loves the chicken. I am now starting to try the turkey and the duck. He is allergic to beef. But I am very pleased!!!

My Yorkie is a picky eater. Used to have to add toppers to get him to eat even a little bit. Since we switched I had to buy a Gobble Stopper from Chewy to get him to slow down and not eat so fast. He loves his Vital Essentials!
