    No go for us

    By on

My cat has had chronic GI issues for months and we’ve been trying to find a food to resolve it. I was hoping she would like this raw food but she turned up her nose at it - even my other cat, who eats anything, didn’t want to eat it. She did like a different brand of raw, though.

    Best freeze dried food.

    By on

No fillers. No chemicals. No fruits or veggies. Nothing that’s going to damage my cats health. Basically just meat. I mix a little in with a can of feline naturals for my guys. I compare these ingredients to “dr Marty’s- nature’s feast“ and vital essentials ingredients are more superior at half the price.

    Solve my cats vomiting issue.

    By on

Indoor cat has constipation/vomiting problem. Is on canned grain free food with pumpkin & oil. Working well but she loves crunchy treats & food. I tried this for treats and presto no more vomiting. I'm going to try her on Vital Essentials for one of her meals. I have confidence it's going to work.

    Ditch your dry food

    By on

We have two very finicky cats, one boy and one girl, who think my husband and I run a restaurant. We try to feed them high quality food that is best for their health;however, dish after dish of half eaten or ignored wet food, raw food, and freeze dried food thrown in the trash was starting to frustrate us and take a toll on our wallets. We even caved in and found the best quality dry food we could to appease them but, we never felt good having that as their main source of food. So, I went on the search yet again for another food to try when I came upon Vital Essentials. After reading their short and clean ingredient list that mimicked a prey diet, I decided to give it a try. So, I went on the search yet again for another food to try when I came upon Vital Essentials. After reading their short and clean ingredient list that mimicked a prey diet, I decided to give it a try. What was the outcome? One cat has no interest in it but, my other cat, the male, absolutely loves it and eats it all up. That might not seem like great results but he had started to beg me for his "just in case" dry food all the time and I was getting worried. The results may not be perfect, but I'll happily take them. Now on to figuring out Miss fussy pants (not her real name). … more

    The Kids Love This

    By on

They are addicted to this food. Have to add lots of water or they gulp it down too quickly; only three ingredients. No fillers.

Transition just did not work out

    By on

Despite doing a gradual transition, this food did not agree with my Sphynx. She would eat it when it was mixed in with her old food, but then she threw it up repeatedly. She had never thrown up before. We have one cat that loves everything, so he will be enjoying this bag.

    My cats love this

    By on

We give these and another brand freeze dried food as treats and they love this food. It's crunchy and about the size of their regular kibble. Both chicken & duck flavors are successful.

Not a Good One For Us

    By on

For some reason my cats will not eat this food. However, they devour the chicken patties & steal my dogs’ beef nibs. SMH

Not Sure How I Feel Yet

    By on

This is my first try of the entree as my cats love the Vital Essentials freeze dried raw treats. My cats normally eat wet food and I keep them away from kibble. When trying this raw food it is optional to add warm water which I did but my kitties didn’t like it. They like it much better as is. So my question is this: isn’t that giving them dry food? So I only give them a little bit for the overnight.
