  • Dogs Think This is the Best Food Ever

    By on

My dogs are in love with this food. They go nuts for Vital Essentials. This is their second flavor, and they love both this and the beef flavor. I can't believe how much they love this brand compared to other raw and freeze-dried brands. I'm so glad I found this stuff, and I hope it keeps our Chi and Chi/Pug mix healthy. The only issue I've had with this specific product is it seems practically impossible to get the "Mini Nibs" to rehydrate. I guess that's okay for them, since they seem to enjoy the change in texture compared to the other freeze-dried foods they get. My Chi seems to take a while to get these pieces crunched down, probably because she has such a small mouth.

  • Great food!

We are big fans of Vital Essentials. The duck mini nibs are the second type of protein we have tried and my dogs LOVE it. They also love the beef and all of the types of treats we have tried. This is such a quality brand.

  • Training Treats

    By on

These are great for training...just the right size. If your dog is on a raw diet/and or grain free this will fit right into their diet.

  • Great Food!

    By on Top 100 Contributor

Zoe loves this food. It doesn't rehydrate well but my puppy likes it crunchy. The fat ratio to protein is the best I've found. My only complaint is there aren't as many varieties as with other brands.

  • My dogs love this......me too!

I feed raw. I love this for when I forget to defrost patties. Or when traveling. The dogs go crazy for it.

Love that these are small and freeze dried without crumbling so I can keep them in my pockets while training. I have GSD who loves them!

  • Gave to cat

I gave this to my cat, the nibbles are on the harder side, but he cracks them away and enjoys them as a topper....cats like to crunch too :)..he didn't take to the beef variety though...
