Interesting Food!

This is unlike other food I've tried, but it worked well for a cat recovering from a hospital stay. He wouldn't eat our regular food, but liked this.

Discoloration

I have ordered multiple packages of this product and in this order, both bags have patties so dark they look like they have seasoning. Some patties are normal in the package but since this is raw food I don't feel comfortable feeding this to my cats. Not to mention half of the patties were broken on arrival anyway.

Well liked

This is a great raw diet for the kitties. I have a cat that has to be on raw diet but is a slow eater. I can put this out dry in a dish between fresh meals or rehydrate for a full meal. Limited ingredients is important with his health issues and this fits for him. He can be picky however he likes this quite well.

Not bad, but not for us!

I typically get the turkey version, which the cats love, and thought I'd get this for a little variety, but it was not a winner. Seems just a high-quality as the turkey, but just not a flavor my cats are interested in. For ref: they also quite like the rabbit and duck.

Good Pork for cats

My cat loves the pork patties. It's hard finding single pork ingredient cat food, but this seams to hit the spot for my cat. Not every cat might like freeze dried food. When I make my cat the pork patty I crumble it up, and add a little warm water. Some times she'll eat it without the water in small bits. I have yet to incounter any bone shards in this product, but it does have little white juicy fat in some squares. Definitely a good source of pork for cats.

Vital essentials pork

My cats absolutely LOVE the pork flavor. I tried it wanting to give them something to mix it up between the VE turkey or chicken, I didn't really know what to expect but all 3 absolutely love it. I'm glad to know they like pork so much no one else really offers a pork flavor for cats, VE is the only reason I know they like it!

Cat loves it

My somewhat picky cat loves this stuff! We rehydrate it so it’s very wet, sort of the consistency of a stew, and she cleans the bowl.

Cat wouldn't eat it

Tried this out on my picky cat Buddy, wouldn't eat it. Tried feeding to the neighborhood feral cats, they wouldn't eat it either. There's one happy fat possum in the back woods.

Not my cat's favorite

Not a favorite of the cats. Only one of my four ate it after being rehydrated. So the dogs will get some good pork toppers on their meals until it's gone.
