is it suitable for kittens?

This recipe is suitable for kittens. Feed up to double the amount for kittens and pregnant or nursing cats. Individual requirements may vary.
So no calcium in this then? If there is no bone and they didn't add in a calcium supplement then this doesn't seem to be a complete meal. Not sure why they would add in other supplements but no calcium.

Cat loves it

My somewhat picky cat loves this stuff! We rehydrate it so it’s very wet, sort of the consistency of a stew, and she cleans the bowl.

Cat wouldn't eat it

Tried this out on my picky cat Buddy, wouldn't eat it. Tried feeding to the neighborhood feral cats, they wouldn't eat it either. There's one happy fat possum in the back woods.

Not my cat's favorite

Not a favorite of the cats. Only one of my four ate it after being rehydrated. So the dogs will get some good pork toppers on their meals until it's gone.

Great Quality for Less Money

Vital Essentials freeze dried limited ingredient foods are my go to for pets who have intestinal issues or general poor condition. This is the first time I've tried the pork for my cats and I'm pleased with quality and price. Yes, all brands of freeze dried pet foods are expensive. But one trip to the vet from feeding poor quality food wipes out any savings you get. Chewy is a company that is amazingly responsive to their customers. I was disappointed in the quality of a product and the company reached out to me and refunded my money (BTW, not a small amount), without me asking! What company does that?? None I've ever delt with before, especially when it's not their fault. Thanks Chewy!!

It's so hard to find pork for cats!!

My usual wet food brands don't even offer pork as a flavor. I used to feed Primal so knew they liked pork previously, but stopped due to the high vegetable content and switched to VE. They love every flavor but let me tell you they could not wait to eat tonight!! When I first received the order I opened I bag and split a party for my cats to share and they all loved it so much. Thank you VE for giving us cat owners a new protein to rotate.

Freeze Dried Delight

I have Been feeding Vital Essentials freeze dried products for years and my cat loves the pork. It can be tough to find as it is one of the newer products. Ordered some extra!
