Extruded Salmon Puree

The product photo did not quite show that this freeze dried salmon is actually extruded/pelleted ground up salmon. The ingredients only show salmon - but why not freeze-dry chunks of salmon, instead of pureeing it and making pellets? I wonder if there are other ingredients that are not reported. My cat won't touch it. My cat loves fish. In the past, I have only purchased real identifiable freeze dried salmon chunks. But since covid, it is hard to find in stock anywhere. So I thought I would give this a try. The lower price should have been an indicator. This review is pointing out that this freeze-dried salmon is actually pelletized puree and not pure freeze-dried chunks of salmon, that you would find in the more expensive name brand products.

Nope not at all

No one liked either kind of these I purchased...neither flavor...way way to hard... Even broken up nope...waste of money, but I donated they to cats that have nothing...since they were new and hopefully they can enjoy them. I never return anything regardless , I donate all good, treats, ( unless not safe, bones in it, otherwise unfit).

I ordered a couple of bags and really thought my guy would like the Salmon. He was not having any of it though. The unopen bags are going to the animal shelter. I know there is a cat out there that will love the salmon.

Not interested.

Neither of my girls seem to care for this flavor. I thought they would love it since they both eat anything that’s seafood. Not the case here.
