It's 90% "red millet" which the birds will not eat. At least the birds in my yard won't eat it. It falls to the ground where the squirrels ignore it, too. It just ends up making a smelly mess. This stuff is a waste of money.
Our birds and we were very disappointed by this seed. The birds wouldn't touch it!! What a waste of time and money.
The birds love it. Unfortunately, so do the squirrels.
crappiest wild foopd ever purchased very few sunflower seed, mostly milo
The birds do not eat milo around our house and this food has lots of milo. Need more millet for the little birds. The only animals that eat milo are the squirrels and we are trying to feed the birds, not the squirrels.
With the cost of wild bird feed skyrocketing, I was optimistic that the food from chewy it would be more than ground seeds. Nope, the feed was predominantly milo, millet and microscopic cracked corn -99%- I could only see perhaps 10 empty shells of black sunflower seeds. The feed poured out faster than I could pour it into tube feeders. What a waste. Now the only it can be used is to buy more black sunflower seeds.
This is a pretty good brand of product, but the birds do not like the coated seed. The squirrels drop by a lot. I'd recommend with an explanantion.
The birds won’t touch this. It’s nothing but fillers. Nothing that any wild birds will eat
I live in town so I only get a few varieties of birds but what I do get seem to love this mix. They eat every bit out of my flat feeder. So I'm very please with my division to purchase this seed.
Premium quality bird food. Fresh seed, no clumping or powdery appearance. Handled and packaged with care.
