In south Florida I get a few wintering finches and they love this food, but the main draw is buntings. Tons of painted buntings from October to mid April, and a few indigo pairs also. Only problem is all the birds, and squirrels, love it so you need a feeder that keeps the larger birds out.

I've never seen so many Finch at my feeder. They absolutely go crazy for this seed mix.

Thought it would bring the finches in but they prefer nyger or thistle

The Finch don't touch it, wasted money, fed to the morning doves and quail.

It’s not seed the birds seem to like unfortunately. Even if they try they don’t come back

The bag says "loaded with sunflower chips and nyjer seeds". Sunflower chips and nyjer seeds are the first ingredients listed. See photo for what was really in the bag. My goldfinches wouldn't eat it.

I was so pleased with this finch food -- absolutely no waste left in the feeder like some other brands. This year I seem to have twice as many red finch then I have ever had so it has kept me busy keeping the feeder cleaned and filled. With less "trash" seed to worry about, the easier it is to clean and refill. One little warning and I figure it's really okay, as all involved seem to get a share, the squirrels like this also!

I should have paid attention to the negative reviews. I put this out in 2 thistle feeders and the birds were interested at first and then completely lost interest after eating about 1/8 of the seed. I thought maybe they couldn't get the seeds out easily from the feeders so I put the seed into tray feeders. Again, the birds ate just a little and then left it to go stale.I noticed that all they were really interested in were the bits of sunflower seeds but didn't touch the rest of the seed including the nyger. I ended up throwing the seed onto the ground for the bugs and mice.

My doves love this! Seems like a good balance for them and no big pieces.

Oh this is to funny.... I received this the other day and filled my dish on my balcony ledge and now I have all the finches in the immediate area (I think) standing in line waiting their turn at the dish.... Best buy ever! Thank you for the hours of entertainment I have received with this purchase..... lol
