Every time I tried to use this blade it clogged with hair and wrapped around the motor shaft Deep inside the blade it was full of hair see photo It pulled my pets hair rather than cutting it Never had this issue with andis blades This seems like it is not made correctly
So far I've liked the Wahl products. First time using this type 5 in 1 clipper and like it for light touch up areas when grooming my dogs. Don't know if professional groomers could groom a dog with thick matted coat with this clipper and blade, but works well for me and my yorkies. I keep their coat short and brush them often so this product works fine for me.
I saw the Wahl clipper at the vets when she used it to trim around an area she wanted a closer look at. Got the clipper and use it for haircuts -- which are around 100-120 here. They're great clippers.
It's the only blade for the Wahl clippers style I bought. The blades only last through one and a half large breed dogs, before they start pulling hair.. Had I known they are a disposable blade, I would never have bought this clipper set up. Blades are $30 each purchase. The only plus is they don't overheat. Save your money and buy a clipper that doesn't use these blades.
The Wahl 5 in 1 blades have never been sturdy, and the most recently purchased blades started dragging after a a week of use. I only use them on clean mat -free dogs. As a professional groomer, I know how to maintain my tools. These blades are a disappointment. Spend the extra money and get the Wahl 5 in 1 Diamond blades.
I ordered 2 blades. One of the blades started chewing on day 3. Super bummed out.
Fits great in my wahl Arcos. Took a little longer to ship but that ok. Cuts clean.
I bought this blade and one came bad without it sharp
Nice and sharp and snaps into clipper with ease. This works great for those quick clean up sanitary clippings on my cats and kittens
I’m a professional groomer. I love the 5 in blades however they don’t last long. I find I’m replacing them about ever 3 months.
