Review of Wahl clipper kit
This item did not come with any attachments so we had to order them separately. It was expensive and should have come with the different length attachments. Very dissatisfied.
Dead after second use…
After reading the reviews and doing research, these clippers were one of the best that were being recommended. On my second use of these clippers they completely died on me & no longer work. Not sure if I just had bad luck with a defective pair or if these clippers can’t withstand grooming my pup (she is a Spanish water dog). Unfortunately these are not worth the price, my cheaper clipper’s lasted much longer than these.
Nice clipper
Ordered this clipper after doing lots of research. Very good start for a home groomer. Good quality and not too loud. Bought the snap on combs as well. So far very pleased. After the pandemic, decided to groom at home. Watch YouTube videos. It’s a must!

After reading several reviews about pet clippers we decided to give the Wahl KM5 a try. We were very surprised how effortlessly these worked through our dogs thick fine fur. Very low operating noise from the clipper motor and minimal heat generated at the blades. Very happy with our purchase and will certainly help keep our pets well groomed, thank you.
Can’t even figure out how to install it
If I can’t install it I can’t use it. Instructions make no sense and there are no videos on the website or YouTube telling how to put it together. Truly frustrating
Wahl KM5 works wonders!
I finally splurged and got a professional set of clippers. They are amazing on my mega coated Schnauzer/Poodle mix. I could not get my other clippers to go through her coat at all. These cut like butter! Thank you Wahl!
Not enough power for me
Quiet and great long cord....but I did not find that it had enough power. I returned it and bought the K10 instead. They have a bit more power.
Worthwhile investment
Was fortunate to get one of these during the pandemic. Our Labradoodle was in desperate need of a grooming as all the dog groomers in PA are shut down. The unit I previously had was basically a dept. store quality model and did not work too well. So I decided to get a professional quality unit. This clipper did not disappoint. Just wow is all I can say. Buzzes through with plenty power. If you’re on the fence about paying a lot for a clipper, don’t be the KM5 is worth every penny.

Chewy is the BEST place to shop
Quiet and very sharp. cuts like butter. when you have the correct combs there is no need to keep taking your dog to be clipped. watched a video on line. It was like taking a class for free..
