    Excellent for What It Is

    By FeralFamily on Apr 2, 2021 top250Contributor

No complaints. These are inexpensive, light, quiet, one handed, cordless clippers. I needed these to get rid of a mats on two of my cats that don't like brushes. They don't do a one swipe clean clip. I didn't expect one. They are super easy to maneuver. They come with a battery, oil, brush, and guards. I have other high end corded clippers- my cats hate the noise and vibration. These are great for small, quick jobs.

    Surprisingly awesome!

    By Cjp1 on Mar 19, 2021

I have regular size clippers but bought these for small jobs like quick trims around my dogs toes and pads etc.. They were soo inexpensive, so I assumed they would be garbage. I was wrong!! These are extremely well built for their size and price!!Not light or flimsy or cheap like I expected. Proportionate to their size, they are similarly built to their regular size clippers. Small, but not weak. In fact, I will definitely use them on my Horses. Perfect for small jobs like trimming ears etc. I also bought another pair to use when I cut my husbands hair. Perfect for sideburns and back of neck!!! A definite buy!!

    Not Bad At All

By Kiwi on Feb 15, 2021

I bought this to finish show grooming on Whippets and a smooth coated Chihuahua. Shave whiskers off the muzzle, buzz out ear fuzz from the inside of the ear, and do some finishing touches on the tail and such. It's PERFECT for that. It got weaker when I tried to shave out the insides of the pads/bottoms of feet on a Golden Retriever type dog, but it still worked. For touch ups for short haired show dogs and the like it's perfect. Love the pretty color and that it fits in my pocket.

Suzy is now mat free!! This helped!

By Suzy on Feb 26, 2021

For grooming newly surrendered rescue dogs it’s good for quick touch ups, especially around the mouth and face. Worth having it in my toolbox for this low price.

    Good Job For Cat

By GrandMa on Jan 30, 2021

My cat has thick fur. He had some mats that would not comb or brush out. Used trimmer and he now has a few less fur spots but is no longer matted. Trimmer worked great although he did not like the buzzing sound.

    Ehh... Kind of works.

By tdteason on Dec 31, 2020

I’m a big fan of Wahl products. Have had a dog clipper for 40 years that still works great. Own one of their cordless full clippers. This thing is ok but I end up using my Wahl cordless instead. It’s ok... Not their best.

    Dont bother

By Debbie on Oct 3, 2020

I ordered this after seeing the recommendation in a pet first aid book. Small, battery powered, affordable, great! I used it once and was happy with the product. I pulled it out a week later and it was completely dead. Changed the battery, still completely dead. I threw away the packaging, so forget about returning it. It's a piece of junk. Dont bother. Completely disappointed

Did not work for us - Wahl Pocket Pro Cordless Dog & Cat Trimmer

By MDNotADoctor on Oct 10, 2020

I was hoping this would do the trick for us, but alas, it did not. **We have a long-haired Maine coon whose fur gets matted at the base of her hair, next to her skin. She has arthritis and has trouble grooming herself. We use slicker brushes, wide teeth combs then narrower teeth combs. We have even tried 1 and 2 row flea-type combs. We just can't keep up with the 'lumpies' - they appear fully formed overnight. **The trimmer arrived, I read the instructions and put a 'guide' over the blades. I laid the trimmer upside down - meaning on the cutting side - on her side to let her get used to the vibrations. This is a trick I had seen a previous veterinarian use on her years ago. **Then, I started I was hoping this would do the trick for us, but alas, it did not. **We have a long-haired Maine coon whose fur gets matted at the base of her hair, next to her skin. It was so thick that it took immense effort to get it to try to penetrate even part of the lumpy. Eventually I removed one lumpy. The second, no luck. The blades were already dull. **I would NOT recommend this item for lumpy removal. Maybe it was not intended for that purpose but figuring it was a trimmer, I thought I would have some luck. **NOTE: I did not contact Chewy regarding this problem. I figured her fur lumps were just to dense for this product. … more

    Doesn’t last

By Jeanne on Sep 26, 2020

I burned the motor out of two of these in short order trimming my large golden/lab’s paws. I have a Conair now that is up to the job. This one wasn’t.
