Attachments don’t fit
By Attachments on Feb 22, 2021
Love the finder but the attachments are too big. The sandpaper things are too big. They slide off. I bought this to replace the one i had that worked great, i just lost it in a house fire. But either the main component is abnormally small or the sandpaper attachments are too big cause they slide off. Not sure if i need the grinder replaced or if i need new replacement attachments. They slide right off then i start it up

Works great
By Alyssa on Jan 25, 2021
I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews but I took a chance knowing chewy has great customer service. Sometimes I have to switch it on and off a couple times before it actually comes on but it’s never not came on. Make sure you read the instructions on how to properly tighten the tips, you have to tighten the drum and then expand it after adding the sanding wheel, as described in the instructions. As far as noise level, it’s about what I expected, not horrible. I started my pup early at 15 weeks to get her used to it. She took to it immediately, no problems except she thinks it’s a toy haha. I’m pleased with the product. Will update should problems arise.

Not the ultimate
By Cheated on Feb 21, 2021
Nail grinder arrived in a smashed plastic container. Pugged it in and the unit ran well enough though quit noisy and vibrated in the hand. My bull dog is nail cutting shy because of ruff treatment at the vet's. This machine was purchased because of the advertisement and it did not live up to the hype!

Wahl Pet nail grinder

The grinder works well and has better power than battery operated grinders. Vibration is low and my German Shepherd does not seem to mind it.

Excellent Nail Grinder - Wheel does fall off during use
By Jill on Nov 2, 2020
This nail grinder works great on our pitbull's nails. As mentioned in other reviews, the wheel does come off during use. It can be easily returned to its position, however, this is annoying to do over and over again. The grinder is powerful so it does not take long to trim his nails. We will continue to use this nail grinder and would recommend it to others.

Puppy pedi
By Cosmetologist on Aug 7, 2020
Works great! My mini dachshund was abused by a groomer at petsmart at age 1 and has been terrified of people and definitely getting her nails clipped since. So this wahl brand works wonderfully and it’s not loud or too fast. You can adjust the speed on the side. She didn’t mind me sanding down her toe nails at all. I also choose this brand because I am a cosmetologist as well and this is the brand I use for my clippers.

grinder is ok
By nail on Jul 18, 2020
Negatives- It’s loud so it startles the dog and it’s a team effort for us to get the dogs to allow it. It seems like it takes FOREVER to see results but the faster you turn it up, the louder it gets (which is common sense) but still difficult. The carrying case is very cheaply made and doesn’t latch closed. The sanding circle does come off during use which is also a pain. Things that make it “OK”- even though it’s corded, the cord is long so you have plenty of slack to work with when the dogs try to wander off. It’s pain free for dogs and humans.

Amazing Product!
By TraceyG on Jul 4, 2020
I have a 19 y/o dachshund named Snoopy, and he has problems standing for long periods. The groomer did not want to take the time with Snoop to grind his nails properly, so he has had to walk around with long nails. (He has enough problems walking without adding long nails into the mix) I bought the nail grinder and am so happy that I made this purchase. Snoop dog fell asleep while I was working on his nails. He gets around much better now that his nails are short. I recommend this product.

Do Not Recommend
By NailMisery on Jul 9, 2020
The sandpaper wraps do not fit snug and spin off when the grinder is turned on. Instructions for assembly are minimal and not clear. Tightening of the and sandpaper onto the spinning attachment requires tightening of a screw that stripped immediately. I found this nail grinder to be essentially useless, unfortunately.
