I have a dog who is allergic (full body rash and puking inducing allergic) to all fowl, grains, white potato and diary. I don't believe legumes are a legitimate key source of protein for dogs, so I avoid those for that reason. This doesn't leave much in terms of quality treats for my rescue. I'm very picky, even after eliminating foods due to allergies on what she eats. I like that these treats are made with humanely raised animals and no fillers. They are also meat sources not commonly found for pets. They are not the cheapest treat I've gotten her, but they are worth it for the quality. They are soft and admittedly a bit stinky...like game meat...not past it's date stinky. Each piece is about 1.5" square, so big enough she has to chew them, which is good as she tries to swallow things whole like most dogs found on the street do. My putz loves this treat so it is now a regular part of her rotation.
My dogs LOVE these! They don’t smell bad like some jerky treats do and they can be broken down into smaller pieces for training
Glad I have these on repeat delivery, but 5oz is just not enough of this product until next shipment with 2 pups. Each piece is a perfect size for 70lb crew as a teaser but they want more than 1 piece, thus need more than 5oz size. The same sized piece works for their buddy who's 13lbs, and for them, 5oz sized package would be fine
I have a small dog that is very picky. This is the only treat she will eat, she would eat the whole package if I would let her. We love your site, it has a lot of good things for our pets.
My Malinois can be picky, so I have been trying some new products to get a feeling for her preferences. She will reluctantly eat this jerky if she's really hungry. Otherwise, she will take it from me, lay it down somewhere, and then walk away. Your results will likely differ.
My little boy loves these! I think I will purchase these instead of the primal beef munchies. The quality of the primal is so inconsistent. Four of the last 8 bags were unusable. And this was not the first time! But, enough wasted money there...walking ahead to the Walkabout Brand. The texture of these, has been consistent from bag to bag, chewy and soft right down to the last morsel. I break it apart and mix it in with his freeze dried Stewart's dog food. I was so impressed that I just ordered the kangeroo...wish they made this in dry food, but the only Walkabout brand I see is vegan. Too bad!
I was looking for a different type of protein because I don't want the dogs to get too bored with their current treats. I just happened to stumble across these and the dogs LOVE them. The moment they see the bag all 3 are sitting down at my feet waiting their turn to get a piece of treat. I like that they come in different sizes inside the bag that way my 55lb girl can have a smaller piece while the 75lb guy gets one more appropriate to his size.
Only can find at,chewy but dogs approve. They love this chewy jerky treat
