    They don't last forever but we don't use them forever. If you start training it when your pup is 16 to 20 weeks, they will need a larger one in a few months. This design allows us to keep the nose loop completely loose, and the cheek straps (plus training ) makes it easy for the dog to want to keep it They don't last forever but we don't use them forever. This design allows us to keep the nose loop completely loose, and the cheek straps (plus training ) makes it easy for the dog to want to keep it on. Head halters put no pressure on a dog's neck, so a dog is never choked, not even accidentally. This is a safer way to handle large dogs. Learning to condition a dog to love a head halter is great practice for conditioning a dog to love a crate, to love coming when called, to love relaxing around other dogs. You need to learn how to be a good trainer to use a head halter, you can't just slap it on and go, and that's a great advantage to head halters. … more

    Broke on 15th use

    First of all this product worked very well to control my adopted dog. He weighs 20 lbs. It was a bit hard to figure out, definitely took a few times to figure out especially if it got twisted. But he could get out of it which happened twice. The harness connects to the collar too so he could not get First of all this product worked very well to control my adopted dog. He weighs 20 lbs. The harness connects to the collar too so he could not get away. Unfortunately the nose strap fell apart after about 15 uses. Also there was extra on the nose strap which looked uncomfortable to me. … more
