The WALKABOUT Dog & Cat Knee Brace is designed to help your fur-iend heal after a knee injury. Compatible with a standard chest halter, this made-in-the-USA, neoprene brace is suitable for canine or feline friends suffering from minor to major joint issues—whether caused by overuse, cranial cruciate ligament tears, dislocating the patella or arthritis. It works by keeping your BFF’s joint compressed to reduce inflammation. The extra stability gives the joint a chance to heal and an opportunity for your best buddy to bounce back.

This brace appears to be well made. I have a Bassett hound and her leg was just too short for this brace to work. The top of her leg fit the brace, but the area around her knee was way too lose and the overall brace was too long for her short leg. Had to return the item.
I haven't been able to try it out yet. I think the MEDIUM size is too large -- I will place a new order for a small and go from there. My vet was excited about my ordering this, so that's 1/2 the battle!!
This brace is well made and seems to work well to stabilize the knee joint. I think I ordered the wrong size though. I am going to try and exchange for a size down for a better fit.
I thought the brace was very easy to slip on. I liked that I could wrap around the ankle however, the clip strap that held it up my dog snapped off in a day.
The Velcro that is attached to the belt that goes around the back pulled away and rendered the leg brace unusable.
We bought for a 13 yr old Speagle (Spaniel Beagle Mix) that tore an ACL. Small brace didn't fit for a darn. Useless. Too big on the upper leg. Fit well below the knee.
This brace would not work on my dog. I could not get it to come up high enough over the
So far so good. Fits well. We'll see if it helps. My only issue so far is you ABSOLUTELY need to use this with a harness to keep it in position and stabilized so order one of you don't have one. I wish that was more clear when ordering. I honestly thought it came with a harness but apparently i didn't read the description in it's entirely.
I had low expectations for this. I was desperate as my French Britney is 10 years old and has a torn ligament on both back legs. The right being worse. Anti inflammatory and joint supplements help but, without VERY expensive surgery this was my last hope for help. What arrived was what looked liked a neoprene bottle cooley with some velcro straps attached. I thought they couldn't be serious for selling this for the price I paid. Once I put it on her I noticed a difference right away. Her leg didn't shake anymore. She hasn't limped once since. She can manage walks much more easily. Sizing is key. It fits her very snug and if I had ordered one size up it probably would be useless. At first I didn't need the back strap as her hair was long and prevented the butt strap from sliding off. Once she was groomed it slid off all the time (esp when she rolled) Now all pieces work together perfectly. I really can't figure it out. It all looks too skimpy and simple to work so well. I only hope it might actually heal her condition. One major concern...I've seen three Vets for her torn ligaments and not one ever even mentioned these existed. Strange to me.
Measured my dog twice before ordering after reading reviews. Bought large for my Shepherd per sizing chart. Straps keep riding up onto his male parts and the brace kept sliding off when he bent his leg. Yes, I bought the harness too. Thinking he needs a larger one or a different style.
