which is the correct size for a 82 pound labrador retriever?

Male dogs can wear the Walkabelly as well as female dogs. For the male, be sure male anatomy is exposed by adjusting the position of the product on the body. Place forward the male anatomy on the body. After placing it on the body, check again to expose male anatomy.
Some of the photos show a strap that goes around the front of the dog's chest. Do all sizes of this product have that strap?

Good support

This is a good very supportive sling. I like that it is firm and won't bunch up under my dog. However the front strap can make getting it on and off a bit awkward, and I'm not sure the strap is really useful. Unfortunately, we were only able to use it a few times before our dog died.

Just Ok!!!

Needed it for my Lab that was having a front leg amputation. The negative is it kept sliding up and down her torso. There is a strap in the front but that did not help very much.

Great for post-surgery

This harness is so well made. Soft on inside. Straps long enough so I’m not walking bent over and easy on/off. I’m 5’9”. My dog had major hind leg surgery and I was able to assist with bathroom walks. Love this. Seriously

Walkabout Harness

We are so glad we purchased this walkabout for our senior dog. She’s 16 and her left rear knee cap pops in and out. She loves the harness because it distributes her weight more evenly and takes the pressure off her knee unlike her old front harness.

Excellent harness

I bought this harness to help support my senior pit bull who has stifle arthritis and it works very well. It is sturdy and well made and the front strap prevents slipping.

Useful but bulky

The harness is nice when I want to help my old boy get up onto a chair. I don't think it would be useful for walking him because he still has a strong pull. I use his regular harness for walks. The downside of this harness is how bulky the straps are. I want to leave the harness on my dog when he's inside, but his legs tend to get tangled up in the straps when he wants to get up from laying down. There's no way to fold the straps so they don't hang down when I'm not holding them. I would recommend with the caveat that you can't keep the harness on for long periods.

Helps my dog with stairs.

My dog is too old for a hip replacement and I have 6 stairs up to my apartment. This is perfect for helping her. Easy to put on and take off.
