Good product. It is an obstruction, a barrier.

    Not good for active dog

By Mycomment on Apr 14, 2019

I think this would be best for a low energy dog who is happy staying put. If your dog is active or wants to try to get in the back seat of a suv then he will bend the hollow pieces of metal that you adjust. Not sure why the company went with this weak material when the rest of the design is fine. I think this would be best for a low energy dog who is happy staying put. Just what I was looking for

I love that this barrier hooks to the headrest. I wanted one that I could remove as needed since I don't need it every day. This fits the bill!!

    Chevy Equinox

Installing this product took a bit of maneuvering since my back seats dont have adjustable headrests. I had to work the bottom clamps under the padded part and around the bar. I expect this to permanently deform the rear head rests though I was able to do it without affecting the look or comfort of the head rests from the back seat. where the passengers sit. it keeps both my Lab mix and my Pitbull secure in the back. My Lab does stick his head though the bottom bars between the head rest and the side of the cat but he cant fit. I was able to install this myself with a little effort but now that it is in it sits securely.

    Perfect Barrier

    By on

Secures solidly to the head rest posts. No parts to mar the headliner. I actually am using this upside down. My standard poodles have entire rear of my RAV4 with back seat laying down. The youngest female would constantly jump over the cargo liner into the front seat when excited. So, I turned this barrier upside down to attach to my front seat headrests. Works like a charm.

    Dog too smart

    By on

Unfortunately, the space left horizontally, between the driver's seat and door, which isn't much, still allowed her to jump through to front. She is a 52 lb. dog! Unbelievable!

    Walky Dog guard works great

    By on

This works very well in my Ford Escape. I can place it on the back side of the front seats or on the back seats. Easy and quick set-up. It keeps my 50 pound goldendoodle where i put her. A smaller pup may be able to slip through the grates, though. The telescoping ends can fit most cars... they are slightly wobbly and an aggressive dog may be able to bend them. Works great for my dog.

    very nice guard

The guard worked well but there was a rattle from the extendable arms. We were able to screw them back inside the tube to prevent rattling and the dog stayed even without the extendable arms.
