By DMHB on Jan 30, 2021
The Split Elk Antler would be good for a small breed.

Dog Elk Antler
By Halo on Mar 2, 2020
Do not buy this brand! Compared to many other antler brands I’ve purchased this one is much lighter in weight, smells AND my 1-1/2 yo golden retriever who is a super chewer was able to break down the white part into pcs!! In the trash it went the first day!

Disappointed
By English76 on Feb 27, 2020
These antlers were not very big or thick at all. Based on the description and picture shown I expected something bigger than what I received. My Labs destroyed them much quicker than others I have purchased.

Antler Chew
By Nikko on Dec 26, 2019
Thought with spending more for the antler chew our dog would love it. Much to our disappointment he smelled it, chewed it for 5 minutes and never went back. Horrible disappointment!

We love it!
By Josh on Sep 18, 2019
We have a 1.5 year old yellow lab and she chews everything like crazy. Toys don't last more than a few fleeting moments. We buy one of these giant size elk antlers, roughly, every two months. Once she chews them down to only about two inches of it is left, then we toss it and get a new one. It's the only thing that lasts and she loves it. I'm honestly surprised at the reviews that say they don't last. This product is natural, not plastic, and it holds up pretty darn well. $70 for a couple of months versus $100+ on toy after toy that lasts MAYBE a day at most.

Breaks down too easily
By BethN on Sep 16, 2019
I have purchased this product twice, and both times had to throw it away after just a few hours. The outer part of the antler is too soft and my 60-lb. dog breaks down into sharp-edged, swallowable chunks much too easily.

Smells Awful!
By DogMom on Jan 3, 2019
I purchased this for my dog. She loves it but it has been taken away from her because it stinks up the house. It gets on her fur, our carpet and floors, and our hands, when we handle it, and stinks; it is hard to wash the smell away I have bought many antlers and this by far is the worst. I have never had one that stinks! What a waste of $24!

expensive bone for the size!
By laurie on Dec 8, 2018
for the price of this split bone I think it is too small. my dog chews slightly aggressive but not like other big dogs. he did splinter it. so I feel it is not much better than a much cheaper bone? this is my first time ever buying one on recommendation from others so I am not sure if I expected too much but I think I will try one more time with a full bone rather than split. so costly.... not sure if it is worth the price but I do not know til I try.
