smaller than i THOUGHT but not technically inaccurately represented… my bunny is small but i want a bigger size for her. it also came a bit misshapen as others have said in reviews.
Cute little overpriced tunnel that my rabbits won’t chew on
I ordered 3 tunnels. Not a single one arrived like the picture. I've purchased these previously and every single one is bent and warped with no room for the Guinea pig to sleep underneath. The tunnels can't even stand up on their own. I tried bending one of them into shape like the one in the photo and I heard cracking, sounded like it was going to splinter.
Good buy, and something I get semi regularly. My pig loves to devour it (seriously, if he was sentenced to the chair he would choose this as his last meal) but that's fine cos at least he has fun doing it. Only knocking off one star because it does sometimes arrive a bit warped. Your pet won't notice though, and it's still fun to run through, hide in, or eat apparently.
This arrived twisted and bent. It will not stand like shown in the picture. If I could return it without having to pay return shipping I would. Very much disappointed.
Amelia started checking the tunnel out even before I finished settling it into their cage, then kept going through it over and over again. Harmony is shyer about new things but she came to love it so much by the next day that she wouldn't share with her sister. So Amelia flipped it over.
I bought the small size tunnel for my 5-6 pound bunny and she loves it. I’m surprised she hasn’t chewed it to pieces in the 3 weeks she’s had it, but she loves chewing the ends and flipping it over. She fits under it fine and must feel safer there, as she chose to hide from firework noises there during the 4th of July.
When I received this I can't tell if it was crushed by other things in my box but it is uneven and won't sit up straight in the cage. I tried to adjust it but it won't stay straight.
The only downside to this tunnel, is that it does not last very long in the enclosure. The gerbils tear it apart in minutes!! They love it, but it's pretty expensive for something that they will destroy so quickly. Not sure if I will purchase again. If you have critters that don't chew like gerbils do, then this would probably be a nice hideout for them.
It is sturdy and my Guinea pigs really want to hide in it. However, they keep tipping it over with the slightest touch because it is very misshapen. I tried to straighten it out and it hasn’t worked. I really like the tunnel other than this, but it makes it almost unusable for its intended purpose.
