Perfect "Broody Breaker" for Hens

The engineering is a little hinky, be prepared to pull out a driver and improvise a little bit during assembly. We keep it in a covered run, so it doesn't get directly rained on but has survived a year of freezing temps and summer heat and humidity just fine. We use this to "break" broody hens and it's perfect, absolutely perfect for the job. The hinged top makes it easy to put the bird in. I open the front door, which becomes a ramp when it's time to let her out. Plenty of space for food and water and for the hen to stomp around and yell her angry indignation at me! I don't use the bottom tray because the poop can fall underneath. (Once assemble)d I couldn't be happier with it.

Great Product

This is my second rabbit hutch by Ware. The first one lasted over ten years and I only replaced it because it was looking a bit run down and needed cosmetic repair. This was so easy to put together, well packed so it arrived undamaged, and had all parts clearly labeled. My little old bunny is happily chilling in his cool new house within about half of an hour of opening the box.
