Good for a long haired rabbit
By Erica on Dec 2, 2019
I bought this with hope that it would help with my rabbit whom had long hair. She used to sit in thir litter box and get dirty litter stuck in her hair all the time. This litter box did help because of the crate. She would still sit in the box but not have so much stuff stuck to her. Definitely helped. She just recently passed and I only owned this for a few months so I cannot stay long term how well it lasts but for the few months of owning it, it did well.

regular size good for rats
By bluestraycat on Nov 24, 2019 Top 25 Contributor
The regular size is a good size for rats. The wire grate is removable, but I like it as it helps keep my girls from kicking the litter out everywhere. It's easy to clean. One of my girls likes to chew it, so I have to replace it every couple months, but small price to pay for having litter box trained rats!

Generally pleased
By HollyTRR on Oct 23, 2019
When this litter pan arrived I was worried it would be too small for my Dutch bunny (a little over four pounds), but she has used it just fine. I haven't put the grate in because I wanted her to use it and she likes to dig. The mechanism for locking it to the cage has worked pretty well and is necessary if I don't want her to drag her pan all over the cage. She has free range of our small house, but definitely views the cage as her territory and likes to arrange it!

Buns said No
By Kary on Oct 28, 2019
I bought two of these for each of my holland lops and boy did I wish I hadn’t! The product itself is good quality and I love that it came with a grate and cage fasteners! However, they’re Just Too Small. The dirty litter piles up SUPER fast and the rabbits themselves barely fit! This would be a superb product for a dwarf rabbit but not anything bigger! Overall, a Fantastic idea but not practical for most rabbits. I’ll stick with my kitty litter boxes!

Bigger is better!
By Puglover on Oct 20, 2019
I ordered the jumbo for my dwarf rabbit and while big enough, it is just big enough. The clips to attach the pan were cheaply made of plastic and one broke before while putting it on, but the clips aren't that great anyway. I drilled two holes in the tall plastic backsplash and attached it with s hooks, works way better this way and is easily removed (maybe the manufacturer needs to rethink this aspect of the design?) But it is a handy little litter pan, I like the tray that prevents scatter of the litter.

Bunnies love it
By Noms on Oct 26, 2019
This litter box was delivered quickly, even on the weekend. It fits my cage perfectly and secures well. I purchased three, only one was slightly off and the grate didn't fit perfectly, but it fit well enough. Highly recommend purchasing through Chewy. I needed these boxes in a hurry and Chewy delivered!

not worth it
By ferretmama on Oct 20, 2019
This does not stay in place even with the locking mechanism. Our ferret was able to take it off every time. We even tried to super glue the locks and it just broke off. We were super bummed that it did not solve our litter box issue.

Size comparison
By starul on Sep 6, 2019
Oh man they're not kidding when they say JUMBO. I have 2 of the regular size pans and my rats tend to only use one so I wanted to try the jumbo and see if there was any improvement with regards to smell and litter containment. First thing I noticed is wow it's huge lol. I'm sure they'll use it just as they did the regular sized ones and I'm pleased that the jumbo is quite a bit deeper.

Wish it came with instructions
By RodentMom on Sep 8, 2019
I didn't know if the litter went on top of the metal grate or under. It was confusing. I finally decided that under would be best so I did that. I wish I knew how to train my piggies to use it. One of them does but the other 2 don't care where they are. They just make a mess anywhere any time.

Ferret keep taking the grate out.
By MIsterJ on Sep 21, 2019
It work when it first came until he figure out he could take the grate out. It should have been made where it hard for the ferret to take the grate out, but easy for the owner. Apparently, the people who made this never had a ferret.
