  • Great product!

    By on

Fixed my litter training issue with my ferret right away! She took to these boxes the day I got them. Also amazing customer service by chewy.com I wanted these in purple so they wouldn't look as gross when poopy. The white and the green would just be yucky. They made it happen and the purple is very dark so it hides the poo well. Wish it was made in black, which they said they were going to pass onto the manufacturers of the product!

  • My bunny loves her potty.

    By on

I did not buy this one specifically since it's a bit small for my bunny but I wish mine came with the grate. To the person who says her guinea pig won't use it, it's like training you kid or a puppy. You take some old litter and put it in the litter box and mix it with fresh litter and he will gradually learn to use it. That's how we tought our bunny and she goes in hers now thankfully. Our Beagle has a gross habit of moving her pen about and eating her poop lol. But if anyone knows were I can buy a grate separately please let me know!!!!

I have a small lion head rabbit which does well with this pan -I wish they made a bigger one as I'm sure she'll outgrow this one soon (which is the jumbo one ).The grate is great because it helps keep her clean-However the back corner where she potty's Is rusty only after a couple of months!

  • THE solution to rat litter box problems

    By on

I replaced a 2” deep x 8”x 8” plastic tray of paper litter (pellets) with just this item, no litter, for my 2 grown/4month old rat boys. The grating is close enough together for them to stand on comfortably, but wide enough for the poop to fall through. No more standing, walking, digging, wrestling in their litter(box). No more litter product scattered outside of the tray,no more spooning poop from the litter product; just take the grate off and dump contents into the toilet. I wished I found this sooner.

  • Very nice litter pan

    By on

I love this litter box, it was so easy for our rabbit to be litter trained, he picked up on it right away. Only wish the space between the grates were a little wider so the rabbit poop would go through into the litter pan not sit on top. Good size for a rabbit cage.

  • Perfect for my little rabbit

    By on

There are numerous litter pans available, but it is difficult to find one this size with a grate that has bars spaced close enough that small animal feet won't slip through. This one is great - I put shredded paper in the bottom and a little on the grate, and rabbit is very happy with it, apparently!

  • Worked like a charm!

    By on

Both of my rabbits were digging in their old litter boxes, getting poop everywhere. I bought 2 of the large litter pans and they haven't made a mess since (because they can't!) They didn't have any issue with the new litter box. Life saver!

  • Bunny accessories

    By on

The only issues i have with this litter pan is the grate seems a little thin and is just a tag too small so if my bunny runs and jumps in too fast it pops off the ledge and falls sideways so i have to fix it for him.

  • Keeps my rabbit clean! :)

(First giant part of my review is about how my rabbit likes it, second part is actual litter box evaluation, last part in stars is summary of everything I said). Before I started using this litter box in my rabbits (2 story) cage, her feet got yellow, although yet she cleans herself really well, constantly stepping into a litter pan with your pee in it will stain your feet. This was just the fix though, and the metal grate kept her feet clean. I mentioned that my rabbit's cage is 2 stories not to brag or show that I care about my rabbit more than those who may have just a single cage or whatever, but to prove that she only goes into her litter box even if she is spending her time on the lower (First giant part of my review is about how my rabbit likes it, second part is actual litter box evaluation, last part in stars is summary of everything I said). Before I started using this litter box in my rabbits (2 story) cage, her feet got yellow, although yet she cleans herself really well, constantly stepping into a litter pan with your pee in it will stain your feet. This was just the fix though, and the metal grate kept her feet clean. I mentioned that my rabbit's cage is 2 stories not to brag or show that I care about my rabbit more than those who may have just a single cage or whatever, but to prove that she only goes into her litter box even if she is spending her time on the lower floor (because her litter box is on the top floor). I even went to an FFA thing with my rabbit that took 3 hours and she held in her poos until I got back (which idk that's extremely impressive and I'm glad my rabbit likes to be hygienic lol) and she ran straight to the litter box, proving that she didn't mind the grate at all (I'm just saying this because my sister's rabbit didn't like the grate much, but I'm sure she would have tolerated it for the sake of clean feet if my sister was persistent on using it). Anyways, I feel like half of what I said was irrelevant, but I was just trying to get the point across that my rabbit will wait long periods of time to go poop in her litter box, meaning she likes it enough that she will willingly go in it. ANYWAYS X2... this box was bigger than expected and the lock things attach to the side of your cage (kind of like a hook thing and the hook hangs on the inside of the cage where the litter box will be placed into, and the outside of the hook thing screws into the side of the cage through the slot), so mainly the litter box will just slide in and out of the hook things super easily without you having to unscrew them. Also, a little bit of my rabbit's pee gets stuck to the metal grate thing, but it's not so bad, I just use a paper towel and Mr. Clean to wipe of the grate and the inside of the box everyday. I read when I ordered my box that some people found the grate didn't line up fully with the back stand thing, and it doesn't... there's maybe one quarter to half a centimeter difference between the grate and the blue stand. This doesn't bother me though, since my rabbit just hops in and out of it easily and the grate hasn't flipped or anything. Final thing! The metal grate's slots are pretty big to allow most of my rabbit's poop to go through, but some of her really big turds sit on top (not a problem though since this only occurs maybe 4 times a day and my rabbit doesn't mind it and I can easily push them through if I wanted to), mind you my rabbit is medium sized, so if you have a really large rabbit with really large poos they won't be able to go through, so you could just expand the slots with some tools or cut every other wire thing with wire cutters, whatever works. *Okay, now that you have suffered through reading my essay (or maybe not), you should just buy it because it keeps your rabbit's feet clean, it's comfortable for a rabbit, easy to clean, easy to remove from lock things (takes me literally 5 seconds), and you can customize the box to fit your rabbit's needs since it's such a simple design.* Side note, if you don't like to hear your rabbit's poos hit against metal then kerplunk into litter, this may not be for you. … more

  • Works great for keeping bunny cage clean

    By on

My bunny used this right away when I first bought it, and only pees and poops in it. There might be a few stray poops in her cage, but clean otherwise. I do line the bottom with an odor absorbing bedding.
