I wipe the grate with a disinfecting wipe daily. The grate coating starts to degrade after 6 months - but that's my indicator to replace the box. Your bun will appreciate a fresh and clean litter box! … more

Ware Scatterless Lock-N-Litter Small Animal Litter Pan

The grate moves too much for my bunny to feel confident enough to stand on it. I had to drill holes and connect wires to stabilize it enough for her to use it. And I wish you could make many larger size options. It is just too small for her. • Half right

These are the only litter boxes we use for our rabbit because they have the scatter proof grate and they lock onto her kennel. We purchased two this time and one of them did not come in good shape. The wire grate doesn’t fit the litter pan and it is missing the plastic clip on lip that keeps the grate in the litter box.

  • Not good for ferrets

I put this cage in my ferrets cage putting him there when he had to poop. He did that but then came cleaning day. It made a mess. If any of you want to potty train your ferret here Is how you do it. If they are lifting their tail up or backing up into a corner put them in their cage. Do that for a few months and if you leave their door open to their cage they will go right in their. ( This may not work will all cages or ferrets every cage and ferret is different).

I have two of these liter pans. One is perfect the other, the gate part is too small so I have to use another item to hold it up.

Yea the pan "locks" but my ferret is able to get it off its hinges and push it around and make a mess. I expected this product to lock in the sense that my ferret couldn't move it but in reality it doesn't lock for anything. Waste of money.
