I bought the Jumbo litter box and 28lb Arm and Hammer non-stick litter, which I have Chewy autoship every 4 months. I love that the grate keeps our rabbit from ever touching the litter. I wipe the grate with a disinfecting wipe daily. The grate coating starts to degrade after 6 months - but that's my indicator to replace the box. Your bun will appreciate a fresh and clean litter box! … more

Ware Scatterless Lock-N-Litter Small Animal Litter Pan

The grate moves too much for my bunny to feel confident enough to stand on it. I had to drill holes and connect wires to stabilize it enough for her to use it. And I wish you could make many larger size options. It is just too small for her. She's a "Special Needs Rabbit" and a grated litter box is imperative to keeping her infection free. THE CONCEPT IS AWESOME! It's just that finding bigger sizes is impossible. Please consider making many larger size options. … more

  • Not large enough for full size rabbits

    By on

I bought the Jumbo litter pan and not only couldn't my rabbits fit but their droppings didn't go through the grids without some assistance. The plastic was a little flimsier than I expected and the protective ring on the front kept popping off when they got out. Good concept but I wouldn't recommend this for full sized rabbits.

  • Okay for what it is..

    By on

I bought this litterbox for my Netherland Dwarf Rabbit and he fits perfect on it. He uses it constantly and he does like the way it feels judging by the way he chooses to fall asleep on the grate instead of on his comfy blanket, but I do have an issue with how the grate fits in the litterbox. One side never lines up with the grooves and if he jumps on and off on that side it falls to the bottom. To solve this issue I stuck a piece of cardboard on one side and it fits snug now. All around product is good, not great but useful.

  • Jumbo small animal litter pan

    By on

Fast shipping. The litter pan is suppose to be jumbo but not as big as the one I bought locally. My rabbit dragged it and tried pulling it out of his crate. The metal grate does not fit very well on the pan. Good price, .

  • Poop can't fall through to the pan

    By on

The bars are to close together, there needs to be an opening in the back for the poop to fall through to the pan. Everything piles up on top of the grate. Either modify this pan or buy the pan w/o a grate.

  • Helpful, but could be better

    By on

It comes loose from the clips if my rabbit runs too much inside her cage, but she has only tipped it once. The wire floor tends to slip down in the back, but it is still helpful to have that part. I read a review that said bunnies like to eat while they go so I have the litter box and food near each other. She has been using the litter box most of the time without any training. The small pan works for my average-size rabbit.

  • May not work for your pet

    By on

Although I ordered the jumbo size of this litter box, my not very big rabbits cannot fit in it. This is despite the picture of a rabbit on the box. Also, the wire front support should be attached under the wire grid, not on top of it to prevent injury to a pet's foot. The construction of the box is good otherwise.

  • Rambo's "bed"

So our ferret isn't so smart and uses it as a bed....yes he is special. It looks a little small for him to use as a "toilet".
