Our rabbit is a Holland dwarf mix and weighs aboutt 6 lbs.I was spending $20 a week on special litter box 'pellets' . I wipe the grate with a disinfecting wipe daily. The grate coating starts to degrade after 6 months - but that's my indicator to replace the box. Your bun will appreciate a fresh and clean litter box! … more

Ware Scatterless Lock-N-Litter Small Animal Litter Pan

The grate moves too much for my bunny to feel confident enough to stand on it. I had to drill holes and connect wires to stabilize it enough for her to use it. And I wish you could make many larger size options. It is just too small for her. She's a "Special Needs Rabbit" and a grated litter box is imperative to keeping her infection free. THE CONCEPT IS AWESOME! It's just that finding bigger sizes is impossible. Please consider making many larger size options. … more

  • Easy Lock Litter Pan.

    By on

I have three rabbits, two have been together for some time, the third was just added a couple of weeks ago. I put a piece of towel that had been in the corner they were using to potty, placed it in the pan after adding litter. They have cut down on the potty scattered all over and are using the pan frequently. Not sure which rabbit are using it, but it seems to be working.

  • Love it, but wish it was a tad bigger

    By on

This is an amazing litter box and I love all the features but my bun-bun is a Holland Lop and sits in this with her face in the corner, and lets her bum hang off the end. So it's a little hit and miss whether she actually makes it into the litter pan or not, which is incredibly frustrating. I really wish it was a tad bigger.

  • Pan for rabbits

I have a small lion head rabbit which does well with this pan -I wish they made a bigger one as I'm sure she'll outgrow this one soon (which is the jumbo one ).The grate is great because it helps keep her clean-However the back corner where she potty's Is rusty only after a couple of months!

  • My bunny loves her potty.

I did not buy this one specifically since it's a bit small for my bunny but I wish mine came with the grate. To the person who says her guinea pig won't use it, it's like training you kid or a puppy. You take some old litter and put it in the litter box and mix it with fresh litter and he will gradually learn to use it. That's how we tought our bunny and she goes in hers now thankfully. Our Beagle has a gross habit of moving her pen about and eating her poop lol. But if anyone knows were I can buy a grate separately please let me know!!!!

  • Bring them inside

Great size for a small rabbit. The white shelf could have small louvers but it works well.

  • Very nice litter pan

    By on

I love this litter box, it was so easy for our rabbit to be litter trained, he picked up on it right away. Only wish the space between the grates were a little wider so the rabbit poop would go through into the litter pan not sit on top. Good size for a rabbit cage.

  • Bunny accessories

The only issues i have with this litter pan is the grate seems a little thin and is just a tag too small so if my bunny runs and jumps in too fast it pops off the ledge and falls sideways so i have to fix it for him.

A little small for my rabbit, so he has trouble keeping his business inside the box but overall good quality

  • Nice and roomy

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I ended up removing the grating as I was afraid they would hurt their feet. The boxes are nice and roomy. Our female rabbit has removed the white plastic in front. She is a destructive rabbit as she and her male friend were very abused. The male who is calmer has not removed the white part. I would recommend the product depending on the temperament. They are large 6 pounders and the box is comfortable.
