Not right for my ratties, but great quality!

i ordered this for one my rats and it was way too big--I should have read the measurements--but it's a high quality vest! It would be perfect for a rabbit, guinea pig, or even a ferret. It's very soft and seems quite comfortable for an animal. Chewy also has amazing customer service--when I contacted them to initiate a return, they just gave me a refund and told me to donate it to a shelter, rescue, or another furry family that could use it! This is selfishlessly marketed towards guinea pigs for profit. A responsible guinea pig owner would understand that guinea pig spines are very sensitive and a leash would harm them. Yeah I bought this for Mr Bun but I think Lilly will be wearing it. Lilly is tiny Bun is bigger in the chest. I have ordered a lg for Bun. Not sure if we will be able to put it on him. He wouldn't let me measure him.

Frustrating, my rat "Bo" is about 8 months old, and the harness is too small...who would have thought...going to order next size up, but with my luck it will most probably be too big...

This harness is great quality. It just does not work for rats and the way their bodies are shaped. I ended up just putting it in the animals box to sit.

I bought this for my teacup Yorkie that weighs 3 lbs - she is super small - and I did measure her but this is still too small for her. It seems well made and is as pictured but it must be made a for a teeny tiny pet. I had even called to get a recommendation on what to buy but this still didn't work.
