The third image shows them stacked, how are the secured together when stacked?

The adhesive or hardware is not included as stacking is optional, but is readily available at your local hardware store. The manufacturer also recommends the 3M mounting squares to secure your cubes together since they are removable. As an additional note, the manufacturer recommends you anchor and secure as shown below, with L-brackets and screws into wall studs. This hardware is not included, but is readily available at your local hardware store.

Save Your Money

We purchased this for our two cats for Christmas, and we were initially skeptical given the flimsiness of the box after putting it together. Within a week, the walls were already loose and pieces were falling off.. Shortly thereafter, our cat bumped into the side of it and snapped one of the walls. Yesterday, it finally reached its life expectancy.. one of our cats went to jump on it, and it collapsed. It is also worth mentioning that the product contains a bunch of tiny wooden dowels that are choking hazard for your cats when the box inevitably breaks. All in all, I recommend steering away from this product. Within a month, it’ll be in pieces, in your garbage. It’s a aesthetically pleasing product, but poorly, poorly made.

Lesson Learned

Well all I can say is I wish I had read the reviews. I will in the future. This product is not what it appears to be. It is made from cardboard. The image is deceiving!

Not worth $40

For $40.00, I thought it would be more solid wood, but disappointed some parts were just cardboard. My cats love it but wished it was more sturdy.
