Way Basics Wall Pad Scratcher Cat Toy, Espresso

Great idea, however the tape which is supposed to hold it on the wall is not up to the task. It was not only lacking in strength - we worried about pulling paint off the wall. Our suggestion is to team up with 3M - which makes REMOVABLE tapes for this sort of thing. We ended up putting the scratch pad on the floor, showed the cat how to scratch it, and he's using it regularly. He sits on one end, to anchor it, and claws the other end.

It is not the one shown in the picture, instead, it's a heavy area rug that is way too heavy to stick to the wall; I tried but it keeps falling down, it's not the same material as shown either. I needed this for a kitten who is tearing apart my sofa, but because it's not real sisal, he won't go near it even when it's lying on the ground.

Thank goodness, my Petey is using it. Took about a week for him to try it, but now he sinks his claws in several times a day. Sticks tight to the wall. Am very pleased with it and will be ordering on a regular basis. Also, will place a couple more around my apartment.

8 year old Hypatia is over weight. This really gives her a work out when she gets excited. I haven't even put it up on the wall. She rolls around with it like it's a toy. Very well built and durable. The silver cat nip just topped it off. Like I said she is in love.

This scratcher is great! Seems like good quality for the price, and my cat loves it. I haven’t had any issues with it falling off the wall either. great buy!

My cat uses everything in my house to scratch except all her scratchers. And she loves doorframes. This was a godsend for the first week. Not sure how long it supposed to hang but the Velcro doesn’t stick well to the pad and within a week it was falling off my wall. Now my cat won’t touch it because every time she does, it falls. I may try have to gorilla glue this thing to my wall because she really likes it.

This was a great purchase! Affordable, Easy to mount, and a furniture saver. My female cat got into a habit of scratching the top of the cupboard and side of couch to stretch. I’ve had this up for less than a day and she’s been going right to it. The cat nip powder is a bonus! Rubbed it on the mount and showed her how to use it by letting her reach for a treat. Definitely recommend to anyone who’s dealing with the a similar situation!

I really love it! My cats went right to it so now they are no longer scratching my furniture! My only problem is that you guys promised two day delivery and I didn’t receive it for almost a week week and a half and I don’t understand why!?

My cat doesn’t like or use this unfortunately. Have tried playing with them near it. Have tried picking them up when they scratch elsewhere.

This needs better velcro. It fell right off the wall when my cat went to scratch it.
