This holes on this slow feed bag measure 3 inches long x 2 inches wide.
Does it close securely at the top?

The Slow Feed Hay Bags has Velcro flaps across the top for closure.
Are the holes all the way around the bag or just in the front?

Only the front side of the bag has holes and the back side of the bag is covered.

This bag seems tough

I bought 2 of these bags about a month ago. They are holding up well even with my boy who always acts like he's starving (all 1250 lbs of him) I do think that the holes could be a bit smaller to slow down the horses further. My big boy is borderline Equine Metabolic Syndrome so slowing him down is really an effort.
