The best-smelling way to clean up dog poop in your yard is to just move to a new city, but if that's not an option keep your face as far away as possible with the Four Paws Sanitary Pooper Scooper. The 32-inch treated wooden handles keep you a safe distance from the action and have a loop on the end making it easy to hang when you're finished. Two aluminum wrap-around scoops resist rusting and make it simple to pick up waste from yards, streets, and sidewalks.

These are wood cheap particle board handles. It broke after 3 uses. Chewy however gave me a full refund, so this review is only for the product.
We love this tool, very easy to manage. I keep buying the same one since is the best we have had!
I got this in July (less than six months ago) and today it broke - the wood rotted under the bolt. I'll order another and try again as I've had similar ones in the past that have lasted several years and this style is hard to find. Hopefully I can leave a better review after the new one has been around a while.
This works well and lasts a long time, makes pick up easy.I also use it for leaves etc.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. I threw this in the trash. I thought it was a scoop and rake but the rake is attached to whatever that is and they don’t come apart. Waste of money
Seriously difficult to scoop poop in a lawn. Probably works on smoother surfaces. It takes way too long to get the poop scooped without grabbing the grass, and it still leaves a smear of it along the way.
This tool is very effective at picking up dog waste. Although I'm on our 4th in approx 30 years my wife usually breaks the handle using it to pick up piles of leaves. Invariably the handle breaks at the joint. Although metal handles would last longer but may add a bit of weight just adding a short metal sleeve at the joints would go a long way towards strengthening it.
I wanted to reduce how many plastic poop bags I used so I took a chance on this poop scooping tool. It is very difficult to coordinate, hard to use on grass and too large for small to medium sized poop piles.
For this tool to be effective, your grass needs to be short enough that the poop sits on top and the poop needs to be firm/hard or else it gets messy. I wish the handles were skinnier and it had a smaller scooper.
Im a professional dog walker/poop scooper and this is the style that works the best. But the last two have snapped on me too early. Still got a lot of use out of them first.
