I have an older cat who is a selective eater. He will only eat pate style of canned food, and prefers poultry vs fish. I’ve tried several different brands where he just turns his nose up. I haven’t had to throw out one can of this brand as he eats it all up. The bowl is clean!
Protein is 10 and I need it to be lower. Cat eats/licks gravey but leaves the meat.
I have 9 kitties, five are about 2 years old, the other four are varying stages of seniors and of health. I spend hours searching for food that doesn’t contain carrageenan and within my budget. The wellness was a bit pricey but the ingredients are amazing. Evidently, half of my crew disagrees. I throw more away than they’re eating, and I’m not overfeeding. A 3 oz can is divided 2-3 ways once a day. My search continues, but I’m disappointed in my furry felines.
My cat transitioned to this brand when my budget expanded a little. I was so excited to start giving her a higher quality cat food. So far she loves this brand. I normally get the 'Chicken & Herring' one but got this variety pack to help her not be too picky and get used to different flavors. She was iffy at first but loves poultry so fell in love quickly
This is a very high quality food, and I am happy to say my cat likes it. I think variety is important, partly so kitty doesn't get bored with her food, and also because items are often unavailable when we need them. A sudden change to a monotonous diet is not good for the cat. I buy this pack along with the seafood variety pack, so she has a big variety. I have been researching cat food ingredients, and this brand and type rates very high. Not all cats like all the flavors, I have found, but this is working very well for us now.
So my multi cat household is not a fan of this variety. They like the seafood selection much better. I do like Wellness products and would recommend them but my four footed crew did not appreciate this variety pack.
I was happy to find this combo in 3 oz size. Just wish there was something that included the Beef and Chicken that was comparable to this - maybe one with Turkey and Chicken, along with the Beef and Chicken Flavor
They devoured the Wellness canned kitten food (chicken) but turned their noses up to all three flavors in this variety pack. I so wanted them to like it cause it’s good quality.
My cat had started rejecting Fancy Feast pretty regularly. No matter the flavor. I tried this and she devoured it. She is now consistently eating about 50% more than she used to.
I am so glad I stumbled upon this catfood. My cats LOVE both the wet and dry and my older cat has stopped vomiting up his food. Great, healthy choice! Thank you!
