Not a good substitute for Royal Canin

    Cats enjoy it

I wanted a good wholesome brand of cat food for my older cats that have developed sensitivities. They love this food!

    They eat it

    By on

We owned 3 different types of cats at various ages, they seem to like it and aren't picky about it. I do agree with some of the reviews when they said they changed the kibble size, luckly that hasn't affected one of ours with a few missing teeth (but thats not speaking for all of the toothless). We are also feeding a stray that we found who seems to enjoy it. Its worth a shot in trying if you are looking for something different. I wouldn't trust anybody who rates this as a 1 star by any means.

    Nutritious and delicious

We adopted an 8 month old female that was very skinny. She has blossomed into a sleek well muscled energetic cat. The package feeding guidelines seem to be very accurate. Her coat is very soft and shinny. Seems to have been a very good choice for this sweet cat.

Great for mixing with wet food

    By on

It seems all the good dry cat foods available have very small kibble size, which is unfortunate because they often fall out of my cat's mouth and he leaves them around his bowl. I found a solution to this problem. I give my cat a portion of Wellness wet food twice a day as his main food, so I just started mixing the dry in with his wet. He loves it, it's easier for him to eat it, there's no kibble mess, and it makes the wet food go farther. We can still leave a bowl of dry out for him if we're gone overnight since he's used to it, but otherwise he has the benefits of meal times and wet food with some added crunchy texture. Give it a try!

Got stuck in my cat’s mouth

    By on

My cats liked this food, but I think they recently changed either the kibble size or shape. As a result, my one cat would occasionally get kibbles lodged in the roof of his mouth! He would paw at his mouth and they would eventually come out, but once or twice we had to help him. Maybe he has deep folds on the roof of his mouth or something, but I’ve never had that happen with any other food.

    not easy on the teeth

    By on

My cat loves the smell of this food and tries to eat it. The pieces are small and very hard. He wasn't able to eat the food because it seemed like the food would fall out of his mouth while he was trying to chew. Or he spit it out because it was so hard.

    Cat loves it

My cat loves this food. I've noticed he has been having fewer hairballs. He didn't love the salmon version of this same food, but this kind he gobbles up.
