Great for mixing with wet food

By Aurora on Jul 20, 2020

It seems all the good dry cat foods available have very small kibble size, which is unfortunate because they often fall out of my cat's mouth and he leaves them around his bowl. I found a solution to this problem. I give my cat a portion of Wellness wet food twice a day as his main food, so I just started mixing the dry in with his wet. He loves it, it's easier for him to eat it, there's no kibble mess, and it makes the wet food go farther. We can still leave a bowl of dry out for him if we're gone overnight since he's used to it, but otherwise he has the benefits of meal times and wet food with some added crunchy texture. Give it a try! … more

Got stuck in my cat’s mouth

By Sophie on Apr 30, 2020

My cats liked this food, but I think they recently changed either the kibble size or shape. As a result, my one cat would occasionally get kibbles lodged in the roof of his mouth! He would paw at his mouth and they would eventually come out, but once or twice we had to help him. Maybe he has deep folds My cats liked this food, but I think they recently changed either the kibble size or shape. Good quality/ cats being cats..

    By on

I found Wellness to be a quality brand, but my cats don’t eat this very well.. It is too expensive to waste . Made the decision to shift to a different brand. Not because it’s not a good quality, Simply because not every one likes same thing! Even Cats..

    Cats not pleased

    By on

Tried feeding this food to 3 cats hoping smaller package at first would be good introduction to this food. They don't finish what's in their dishes and I am wondering if Chewy would accept the return of the unopened large package.

Product great but Wrong nutritional values on chewy site

    By on

My review isn’t for the product itself. I like the Wellness line and feed it to my dogs as well. My review is for the nutritional values that were listed on the page versus the ones on the bag. I have been researching cat foods to find a “good” food for my cat that was just diagnosed with kidney disease. I was looking for a food that had a lower phosphorus content than what I’m feeding now without having to resort to the crappy(in my opinion) prescription diet. I was thrilled when I saw this had a MAX .8% only to get it and on the bag says MIN .8% which means it could be higher! This is very important for those cats with these issues! Upset to say the least!
