Combination Feeding: If feeding with Wellness wet food, reduce dry amount by ? cup for every 6 oz. of wet food.
For pregnant or nursing dogs: Since DHA is transferred to puppies in mother’s milk, we recommend feeding this during pregnancy and nursing. When pregnant, feed up to 50% more food according to body weight for 12 mos. For nursing dogs, allow her to eat at will.
It is important to slowly transition your puppy from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5 - 7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.

SO worth the price!!
By SuziQ on Feb 11, 2021
Our 4-month old Norwegian Elkhound/Lab Beau *loves* this food! He's picky and a grazer, and we've tried Purina Pro Plan which he initially liked and so did the vet, but our boy then turned his nose up at Purina and refused to eat it. So then we tried Blue Buffalo and got the same result. Ugh. Finally, we found Wellness, and everybody's happy! I love that chicken is their first ingredient, and the rest is super healthy. I'd prefer it if Beau ate his meals right then and there, but he's just not built that way. So I'm confident at last that he's got a healthy food to fill up on whenever the mood strikes-and importantly, so is our vet! Not for my puppy
By Jack on Mar 4, 2021
Unfortunately, this wasn't the right food for my puppy - an OES. We tried her on this food from the time that she was 8 weeks until 16 and she never quite took to it. She ate it at first, but relatively quickly she lost interest in it completely and wouldn't eat it unless we mixed in wet food. Personally speaking, it stinks of fish, which wouldn't be fine if she ate it, but alas it was not to be. We've switched her to Purina One and had great results so far!

Great Dog Food!!!
By Casey on Feb 11, 2021
When I adopted my puppy in April 2020, she had bad runny diarrhea. She had health tests and exams done by our vet, but she was very much healthy! We switched to this food and saw major improvements. It’s now February 2021 and her poops are still beautiful. She loves this food & even I think it smells good! It’s overall a great food for my dogs! I even switched my other dog (chihuahua) over to this because she likes it more than other brands too! Never switching again. High recommended! Healthy fur, beautiful teeth, great energy, perfect healthy poops.

Great Dane
By Puppy on Mar 4, 2021
Great Dane puppies can't have puppy food. I tried explaining this to the rep but she helped me order this one instead of the one I actually wanted. totally miss understanding that was pricy. It was donated to a family in need for there puppy. it has to much protein that will speed up his growth to fast and end up hurting his joints and ligaments in the long run.

Husky Puppy Loved
By MK218 on Feb 14, 2021
My 7-month old Siberian Husky loved this food, until recently she has had consistent diarrhea and vomiting. Wellness makes great food and my 3 year old husky is on their whitefish formula with no crazy issues. We think we have recently discovered a chicken intolerance so we will not continue on this food, but for a while she thrived on it. Thank you for making a food that even (most) Siberian huskies sensitive stomachs can tolerate.

Quality food for foster puppies
By Pupperz on Dec 18, 2020
Nursing dogs eat puppy food because it is a bit enriched for ingredients they need. I feed the same puppy food (Wellness or Royal Canin) to my foster dogs that are nursing and to their puppies when they begin to eat. Both seem to be high quality and are well tolerated. My current foster likes this one so that is what she gets. Will offer it to her puppies soon. My only reticence, and I will repeat this every time, is the lack of a resealable closure. At these prices, the manufacturer should make it easy to keep the food fresh. All else being equal, I will choose a product with a resealable bag (Royal Canin). I am approaching 300 cumulative foster dogs and puppies over the past years, so Nursing dogs eat puppy food because it is a bit enriched for ingredients they need. Good quality
By Dogmomma on Jan 15, 2021
We feed our older dog wellness brand after trying several from the most expensive to the cheapest “good quality “ we could find. Finally this is something that doesn’t mess with his tummy. Now we have a new pup so naturally we are using the puppy formula. He loves it.

Our puppy LOVES!
By RavenJ on Jan 13, 2021
Our 4-month old puppy, Ozzy, is a shepherd/lab mix, so as you can imagine he is huge and needs to eat a lot as a growing boy! He loves this food! I moisten it with less than a tbs of chicken broth and he goes to town! I will also sometimes give him a piece of this in place of a training treat.

Great food
By Sheila on Feb 11, 2021
My new puppies love this food. They were on Blue buffalo and just didn't like it that well. I did transition to new food and they gulp it down.
