I would eat anything you serve ...But I won't eat that....
14 kittens and their moms and not one of them liked this. Mixed it into other kibble so they eat it by proxy but sadly not a 'storm the banquette' apparently. We have special diet cats so need to do grain free otherwise I'd totally go back to Royal Canin mom and kitten kibble. RC is expensive but at least a big go to for any picky eater. This Core kibble sadly is not especially considering the price. Their wet is a big favor though as shown in the pic, the kibble not so much :(
not that tasty but I like it
First I agree that compared to many other brands, wellness is not that tasty. Here is the way I feed my 5 month 6.7lb kitten: I give him 1/2 cup of wellness kibbles every morning. When I come home from work, I mix the remaining with 1/8 cup Instinct kitten kibbles which is more tasty but with more fat. Before I go to sleep, I mix the remaining kibbles with 1/2 3 oz wellness canned food. He loves canned food the most and will finish all of them. Why do I insist wellness even when my kitten is not that into it? Because ingredients come first to me. I like the ingredients of wellness and price is reasonable. My kitten was with less muscle compared to other kittens at the same age when I adopted him. I changed his kibbles from a cheaper brand to Wellness complete health and now wellness core. His weight increases around 2 lb/month. He is now full of energy and his fur is shiny and soft. I believe wellness contributes a lot. I plan to rotate the food like 3 times per year. Wellness would definitely on my list.
Good for the whole family
I am feeding two omnivore eight months old kittens, recent rescue s, and one middle-aged ginger tom rescued about three years ago. All three felines are inhaling grain free CORE kitten food with great relish. The kittens eat anything and everything, but the senior cat is very fussy and his opinion really counts. Yes kitten food is higher in calories, but he is satisfied with less so he's not gaining weight. Win all round.
Kittens will not touch.
I have two kittens niether of which will eat this particular food, I have been feeding them wellness complete nutrition for kittens & they eat it with no problem.
Wellness core grain free kitten formula dry cat food
She loved it. She’s not too crazy about the wet so I mix this in with the wet and it does the trick.
Love At First Bite
My two young cats love this food and I’m glad there is a kitten food available.
Kittens did not like it
This is the second Wellness product I tried. My adult cats did not like the wet food and my Kittens do not like the dry kitten food, so back to Blue Buffalo dry Kitten food.
100% Approved Webster & Bean
My kittens were on the standard Wellness food but started to not finish their meals so I switched up with this version and they love it.
Kitties growing strong
I buy this for my kitties to nibble on when I’m not at home. It’s helping them grow strong and they have such soft shiny coats.
good formula but not my kittens favorite
I’ve bought two bags of this and I think my kittens prefer the old ones (I used to feed them the big bag of purina one). They don’t finish it as fast as the other cat food, and they’re not too excited about the food when I give them. It’s also a little crumbly when you get to the bottom, sometimes I need to use a colander to sift it out. Overall I think it’s a good kitten dry food, it would be great if my cats like them more.
