My cat loves it! It's a tad lower in price than another high-quality dry name-brand, which is why I decided to try something new. I may stick with this or switch off between them.
I was super excited about this food- great ingredients, high protein, and I got it on sale. But it instantly gave my cat diarrhea and he stopped eating. My cat will eat literally anything, but not this. The day I switched him back to his old Purina food, the diarrhea stopped and he was all better. Back to voraciously eating and firm pooping. There are other reviews about similar tummy problems with this food. Not sure what the issue is.
My cat is a very picky eater. I’ve been feeding him hills science diet kibble and wet food a couple years now. He’s an outdoor/indoor cat so he’s very active. I wanted to switch him to something new to see how he’d adapt. Upon opening the box he immediately ran over sniffing it very curious. When it comes to kibble he’s a snob so I was pleasantly surprised when he ate the whole bowl I gave him to test it out. I ordered the core wet food as well, will be trying that out in the morning. So far so good though. Core may be my brand of choice from now on.
Our cats DO NOT like this. Even our least fussy cat will not eat it. He eats EVERYTHING! It seems kind of dry: maybe we got a bad bag or something (seems kind of dry), but I will not buy this again.
wellness core never disappoints my cat. unfortunately this package arrived with a tear in the middle and the contents spilled everywhere
Three cats, three refusals to eat it,
I went through reviews and have stuck with this kitty kibble. I like the nutrition content and kitty likes the taste. No digestive issues. Kitty has been getting this kibble for about 7 years.
The ingredients are very good, my cat like it very much.
My cat's been eating this for years, and he's a very picky eater (which is also why we've been on this diet for years + wet food to accompany). But when I opened my most recent bag, however, I noticed the kibble size is slightly larger now. Not sure if it's just my bag or if they've changed it all, but that was disappointing as it's such bad timing...my cat recently just got teeth extracted and he's now not as keen to eat due to the bigger size.
I take care of barn cats but I can’t get out there every day. The farm staff usually gives them canned in the mornings but unfortunately they still need to have dry food available. This is the lowest carb dry food I can find. They love seem it and are doing well on it.
