Feeding Instructions

To feed alone, feed about 2 cans per day for each 6 - 8 lbs of body weight. To feed with dry, reduce dry by 1/4 cup for every 1 can wet. Refrigerate unused portion.

Transition Instructions

Your pet can be easiest transitioned by adding 10% of the new formula to 90% of what you had been feeding the first day. Each day after that decrease the old flavor or formula by 10% and increase the new by 10%.

    Pasty Food

    By on

For being a Pate I was expecting this to be a little more loose and easy to spread but was sticky and almost dry. Adding water doesnt help if anything it makes it worse. My cat barely touches this food and I have to leave it down for about an hour for her to eat half a can, by then the food is hard and crunchy. Was expecting better

    Finally a winner

    By on

Cats can be so finicky with food. My Siamese had FHV and now that she is 13 it's become cronic. She had been losing weight and would only eat hard food but my vet said I needed to get her to eat wet food. So off I went to the pet store to buy different brands and flavors. Wellness Core and Natural Balance only in the venison, duck, Turkey and beef were winners. Everything else was snubbed. Granted Wellness Core is double the price of Natural Balance so I mix the two brands together to make it stretch out. Plus my Ragdoll pounces on the food too. Been using the mix of both brands for 3 weeks now and both cats are still eating it and my Siamese has put on weight and with her meds is doing much Cats can be so finicky with food. Not for my cats

    By on

These look like really great ingredients and for a cat with inflammatory bowel disease this would be worth a try. But unfortunately my cat with this issue wouldn't even touch the food. I thought I'll give it to our ferals outside but they didn't want it either.

    She won't eat it

    By on

My cat doesn't like it. She loves beef, but not with the other flavors mixed with it. If your cat is finicky like mine your cat won't eat it.

    Boys love it.

    By on

Our boys love this stuff. Although the size may not be the most economical, the freshness of each can makes them eat it up.

    Pate was very gummy/sticky

    By on

This pate was very gummy and sticky. I added water to see if that would make it better, but it actually made it worse. My cat wasn't thrilled with it either and refused to touch it at all after the second can.

    I am confused

    By on

Cats loved the 3oz amount but refused the 5.5oz. Are they different formulas?

Got rid of Carmel's loose stools

    By on

My mom and her pets moved in with us. Her cat started having loose stools with every food I tried and vomited with dry food. She became very finicky also and only eats pate. The vet found nothing wrong. I tried sticking to one kind in case it was just the changes but it didn't help. I decided to try the Core canned food with her. She liked a couple of flavors but PetSmart never carried very much so I had to return every week. It is expensive. I checked Chewy.com and was able to get a case. Carmel continues to be doing well on this, though still vomits with dry food. Delivery was as they described, so the small delay wasn't unexpected.

    Can’t Get Enough!

    By on

My 11 year old cat has a pretty sensitive stomach and taste palate, so I’ve tried a lot of foods over the years to try to give her some variety from the one other flavor she gets daily. With this one, we finally have a hit! She absolutely loves it and can’t get enough! And she was able to keep it down with no issues. Great texture, too!

    CAT LIKES IT

    By on

Since I am not a cat I do not feel qualified to review cat food. She likes it and it's conveniently and quickly delivered. That's about all I can say. Thanks, Chewy.
