Combination Feeding: If feeding with Wellness wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/3 cup for every 6 oz of wet food.

For pregnant or nursing dogs: Since DHA is transferred to puppies in mother’s milk, we recommend feeding this during pregnancy and nursing. When pregnant, feed up to 50% more food according to body weight at 12 mos. For nursing dogs, allow her to eat at will.

Transition Instructions

The best way to transition your pet onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet (starting by mixing 90% old with 10% new and increase new by 10% each day until the bowl is full of only Wellness). Mixing the food will allow your pet to acclimate to the new taste and not overindulge on the new food.

When food transition is not an option, there are a few ways to ensure a good transition:

Feed multiple, smaller volume meals. This will decrease the likelihood of over-consumption and provide for a more consistent, firm stool. Add clean warm water to the food to help soften it. Add a digestive aid such a boiled brown rice or sugar-free canned pumpkin.

    Wagging Tail Approved

    By on

My older dogs have been moved to a freeze-dried/grain-free food, so when I got my new puppy I spent over 2 hours reviewing ingredients of many, many brands to ensure my pup was getting the quality she deserves. Her wagging tail tells me she approves of the decision I made.

    Turkey Bite

    By on

After few days my dog obviously started to pick up ONLY turkey bite. So I give him turkey bites as topping when he finished the whole bowl(normal kibbles) every time. This rule is super effective and now he almost finishes whole bag. The kibbles from the bottom part have a lots of tiny pieces of turkeys so my dog even gets more appetite than the beginning. I switched from "Normal wellness core" to this "Raw Rev" The kibbles is little bigger than normal wellness core kibbles. (my dog is 6months toy poodle) But still he loves.

Good food sadly my dog didn’t do well

    By on

This is a high quality kibble sourced in the US. Sadly my little pug puppy didn’t do well on it. We donated it to a local rescue.

    Picky eater

    By on

This food is great. My 6 mo old staffie has gas issues and I switched him over to this food. Minimal to no gas, he is picky and loves this food. Hi BM’s are solid and not so stinky. We are really happy with this food.

    Highly recommend!!

    By on

Was currently feeding my 7 month pup Orijen puppy which I thought would be the best for him, but he would struggle to have firm stools consistently. I switched to this the following day, and added pumpkin to his food to help with transition and he had firm stool! Did not upset his stomach at all. He loves the food especially the raw bits of turkey in it. Super satisfied! I will be getting him the Adult formula once he is fully grown!

    Must taste great

    By on

My Malinois loves this stuff but I have to mix it because a puppy needs some grain. Studies say no grain my contribute to heart trouble.
