I have one kitty who's been chronically underweight her whole life and has some allergy issues. We ran out of churu to hide her allergy pill in a couple weeks ago and bought probably six kinds of wet food to try from the store to make sure we had something she'd eat her pills with. Wellness Core seafood flavors were the winner, to the point where she refuses to eat the dry kibble our other cat prefers and yells until she's given a can of this food; in the couple weeks we've been feeding it so far, she's already visibly gained some weight. I guess we're switching her over permanently lol smells awful, but I think that's one of her favorite parts. :)
my cat is a very picky eater but she lovesss this stuff & surprisingly hasn’t gotten tired of it. it is a very wet food but it is still shredded so that’s perfect for her bc she doesn’t like big chunks. also 10/10 bc there is no chicken & she has a chicken allergy unfortunately
Our cats are crazy for this food. The Skipjack Tuna is their favorite--spoiled kitties
My cats love wellness but they wouldn't touch this. It's labeled as "flaked." I would say it's a very loose pate texture. The one with shrimp did have tiny whole shrimp in it but my cats just walked away. I didn't enjoy the smell either.
One of my cats has a food allergy and can't tolerate poultry or rabbit. It's hard to find foods that don't contain these ingredients. This one fits the bill and both my cats love it.
My two cats just love this wet food! I feed it to them in the morning and it is gobbled right down with nothing left in their dishes! I also bought the poultry variety pack and they love that selection as well!
As always, my kitties love this food. I am not a huge fan of tuna personally. But my ridiculously picky cat sometimes only wants the stinkiest most yummy tuna, this fits the bill for him.
I try to feed my 2 cats new flavors periodically so they don’t get bored, and one of their faves in our regular rotation was sold out. So I thought I’d try this one as it looked like a healthy choice. My finicky cat picked at this, and my food-lover ate it up - w/slightly less enthusiasm then other foods she loves - then proceeded to vomit every bit of it up - in my bedroom, on the living rug in several giant pools of stinky tuna, under the dining room table, in my hallway where I slipped in it and nearly killed myself. I tried feeding it to them 3 times, thinking they might acclimate to it - but shutting my bedroom door after that first episode to avoid more vomits in there, just in case - and good thing. My living room rug became vomit central for each of the following 2 tries at giving them this food (yup, finicky kitty finally ate enough of it & started vomiting too). I don’t know what it is that’s bothering their stomachs on this one, but as soon as I switched to a different new food, the vomiting stopped. I’m going to donate what’s left of this case of food, I’ve had enough vomit in a week to last me a lifetime.
All I can say is that my cat really likes it. That’s all I need. I checked out the ingredients before I bought it, so we’re good to go.
You can buy 12 cans of each for ~$60 or by this for $42. NOT a value proposition. Buy the 2 cases.
