I have multiple senior cats and this core product is so easy for them to digest and they don't regurgitate it like many other foods they've been on.

Terrible- not even edible
By Gannon on Aug 12, 2020
I love wellness brand food, but this product is simply awful. My cat took the entire bowl and picked through it and spread it out all over the floor. He absolutely would not even eat one bite.

Great Cat Food!
By Peach on Jul 12, 2020
Wellness cat food was recommended when I got Zoe from a shelter. She likes the food and is a happy healthy three year old.

Great for a treat
By Durham on Apr 12, 2020
This looks good enough to eat! There’s not enough in the package for a meal, but it’s a great treat and has a ton of liquid which is great for cats since the tend not to drink a lot. Both of my cats love it!

Great Diet Supplement to increase urine output
By Flyinggems on Jan 16, 2020
In the summer of 2019 my male cat was diagnosed with crystals in his urine. The vet recommended increasing his water intake and a change in diet. We purchased a water fountain: He hates it, She LOVES it. The Vet recommended a urinary specific cat food. She hated it; only eats Wellness CORE Kitten Food. He tried but would not eat it. We reduced the amount of dry food fed daily and added water to the Wellness CORE Kitten Food. Added a second breakfast of a high water content food. For dinner we added an appetizer of CORE Simply Shreds in a separate dish. He now has normal output in the box.

More broth than meat, perfect for additional hydration!
By PateTigger on Dec 26, 2019
I love this product as cats are true carnivores and require meat and moisture in their diet. Our 12 year-old, 15 lb sleek and strong male tabby gets a 90% wet food diet, as this diet regimen has kept him healthy with lower vet bills. Yes, this item is mostly broth (so pricey), but I will continue to buy it as he likes it and it's a good complementary food to his regular wet food diet (he likes pates more than shredded foods). I cut the packet open with scissors and use scissors to snip the chicken into bite sized pieces. There are other packets out there that contain more meat and thicker gravy, so ask a Chewy rep for recommendations as they're always willing to help!

I thought they would love it.....
By Catwagn on Nov 25, 2019 Top 50 Contributor
It’s just ok! I like that it has very few ingredients, easy to cut shreds if needed. I was really hoping that they would like it better than they did, will not buy again.

A Nice Option to Try
By NJM0416 on Sep 10, 2019
I've been looking for new wet cat food because my cat is getting tired of his usual go-to food. Someone from Chewy recommended this product to me and we tried it. Initially my cat liked this food, but after he had it for a while he's started to only lick the sauce. So I add a little dry food and he eats the combo.
