Quality change
I have been using this for a year now and my dog has loved it. The quality of the food has been perfect up until the last two bags. I ended up sending one bag back for half the bag being crumbles instead of formed kibble pieces. The replacement bag is in the exact condition with half the bag being crumbles. I don’t know what has happened to Wellness’s quality.

Little man is SOLD
I had my last dog of 14 years, and then this newly adopted doggie both on Wellness adult chicken flavor dry food, but new doggie didn’t seem to love it and all but stopped eating it in the last wk :\ I think the kibbles were just too big and awkward and maybe boring? Idk.. so I tried this one and oooooh boy, SUCCESS. He SCARFS it. The pieces r way smaller and he literally stares at me for more after! I’m so happy :*) he seems very energized and maybe even a little less gassy! Bosties are so finicky and have such sensitive stomachs, I’m so glad to have found this. Yay!

Great for tiny dogs
My Chihuahua Is a very picky eater. He loves this food not only for the taste but for the tiny size of each bite
All the right stuff!
I had been looking for a dry food for my Jaxon for awhile. It had to meet certain criteria as “grain-free” was no longer that simple. I wanted to eliminate the pea protein and all others that fall in this category. This Core fits that criteria and he loves it. I do mix it, however, with home cooked Turkey and vegetables. This completes the proper nutrition. Thank you Wellness
It's a winner
I was recently advised by my veterinarian to get my small breed dog re-introduced to a healthy grain kibble. A study at UCDavis revealed that dogs with an enlarged heart had one thing in common - a no grain diet. My dog has been on a diet of chicken and vegetables for 6 years. Chewey carries this small breed high protein kibble and my dog loves it. She has been chowing it down for the last month so it is a winner.
My Chihuahua's LOVE this!
I have tried a couple of different foods over the span of my pets lifetime. I saw good reviews on this one and wanted to try a smaller kibble as my pets are older and have lost some teeth. It took a week or so before they really tried much of it, but now that they are used to it, they LOVE it. They usually finish the whole 1/4 cup serving in one sitting rather than grazing. I am very pleased with this food, and although expensive, it is worth it to know my pet is getting a healthy meal regularly.
I really wanted my girl to love this food
Unfortunately she wouldn’t even try it, not one piece!!
SHOCKING RESULTS
I don't usually buy Small Breed Kibble for my dogs. They are Boston Terriers and are borderline for Small Breed or the Original. When I put the bowl down I could tell that it was a hit. My Izzy gobbled up the entire bowl without stopping to come up for air. lol I also just recently started feeding the Wholesome Grains also. I have been feeding Wellness Core for a few years now. So glad that there are so many options now. It's always a hit at our house.
