grains are needed. pug breed likes it
I have a table food fed royal highness pug who likes this food. The day it was delivered he ate it all up plain and dry before I could season it with canned food! He needs protein and less carbs bc he’s a 10 yo pug (lazy and spoiled). Studies have shown cardiomyopathy in dogs that eat grain free. Be careful of that!

I have had my basset hound on Wellness Core wholesome grains since she was a puppy. After a year I have switched to adult wholesome grains. My dog has the best skin and coat of any dog I have ever had. Love this food. Thank you Wellness!
Low fiber in here
Overall my dog likes it, but this product only has 4% fiber which is causing my dog to graze on grass a lot more. I'm switching to the reduced fat turkey from the same company which has double the fiber what is grain-free.
Easy Switch
Our old food was no longer available and we wanted to get away from grain free. This one has a similar fat, proteins, carb make up with grains. Our dog loves it and had no problem with the transition.
BEST Grain food out there!!!
Most grain foods have a lower protein %, this one is consistent with Grain Free foods! Also the no potatoes in this blend is fantastic! Almost every dog food out there is stuffed with potatoes these days! My golden doodle loves this food, and it was super easy to switch him over from blue Buffalo. A++++
Jackpot! my dog loves it!
I have been struggling with the whole: Do not keep feeding grain-free because it being linked to medical issues, but when I tried regular food my dog would not eat it and get super constipated. This food is perfection! He never has been as interested on eating as he has right now, he literally is happy when I serve the food and eats it immediately. With all other food I gave him he would be indifferent and eat super slowly or skipped meals. Now, do dogs get bored of flavors? I just wish there were more Wholesome Grains flavors... there seems to only be two. =(

Worlds pickiest dog WITH chicken allergy. I have been searching high and low for chicken free kibbles WITH grain. This food fit the bill and he actually eats it! Yay!
Dog goes wild
Riley loves his Wellness.Its healthy food and good for him.Likes it much better than his old food.Transition was easy.Feeding him this kind of food cause its got healthy grains.
Great Choice
We purchased the Wholesome Grains Original a few weeks ago. I had been feeding Wellness Core Grain Free for quite some time and didn't want to switch to another brand. When I saw this Wholesome Grains variety I jumped to order a bag. Basically the same ingredients without peas and potatoes with added oatmeal and barley. I don't think my dogs noticed a change at all. I would definitely will purchase again.
Hard to say...
I was forced to switch foods when I found out my 8-year old welsh terrier is allergic to sweet potatoes (only that, of all things!!) and chose this after a fair bit of research, but he's not wild about it at all. He seems to be doing fine but clearly doesn't love it, so I'm going to have to find something else that he likes at least as much as his previous food (Lotus chicken).
