The best way to transition your cat onto a new food is to gradually introduce the new food by mixing it with the old grub. Mixing the two—and increasing the new food gradually—will allow your kitty's taste and tummy to acclimate to the new recipe.

Sadly, wasted my money
By RollingJones on Feb 8, 2021
I previous purchased other flavors for my cat that he enjoyed. This salmon, he wouldn't touch. Of course I bought a case :( I gave a couple cans to a coworker to see if her cat would eat. Nope. My the feral cats in the area will. Won't buy it again

Good food for picky eaters
By Maria on Apr 1, 2019
Most Wellness morsels are a favorite among my three cats. The salmon is specially good. I highly recommend it.

An occasional fave for resident fussbudget cats
By ZeeBop on Oct 18, 2018
We've given Wellness foods to our four cats since they were kittens. While they usually like them, they go through times where a food they loved one day is something that they turn their collective noses up at the following day. Typical cat behavior. To deal with this diva-ness, we have several types always on hand. Wellness is an excellent brand however and we always recommend it.

Good But Dry
By Dooot on Jan 16, 2019
The food is good but my cat didn't like it much, probably because it is too dry

Not a good match for this kitty....
By FosterMom on Jan 10, 2018
My cat loved the "Tuna and Salmon" morsels sold in the packets. She absolutely hated this formula. Stuck with two cases. :(

My finicky cat likes it!
By Crestedcanine on Aug 12, 2016
I don't know the nutrition information behind this product. I chose it for my older cat, who was declining to eat his regular food and he liked it. I have observed that some other cat foods with fish in them make him vomit, this one does not.

Surprised
By Dina on Jul 28, 2016
I was surprised to find such a difference between the sliced and chunked salmon. The only ingredient that was different was the spinach vs broccoli, yet the smell was completely different. The texture was a bit tougher and there was less juice. Needless to say cats can smell the difference and mine where not happy. I went back to the sliced and donated the chunk.

Our cat loves it!
By MissZ on Feb 16, 2016
Wellness brand was recommended by our vet. Our cat loves this food. We've tried all the flavors, but salmon is the only flavor she will eat on a regular basis. She eats the minced and the cubed. Also, can't say enough about Chewy.com! Customer service is above and beyond! It is the only store I buy cat supplies from now.

Too pricey
By Jessncats on Jan 27, 2016
For the $30 price tag, I thought this would be actual salmon pieces cut into cubes. Instead, it looks like a loaf of tofu cubed. The cats ate it, but it's too pricey for what you get.

Uneatable
By pethugger on Jan 15, 2016
I have 7 cats and not one of them will eat this food. I will not throw it out, so I add another food. That is the only way they will eat it.
