The best way to transition your cat onto a new food is to gradually introduce the new food by mixing it with the old grub. Mixing the two—and increasing the new food gradually—will allow your kitty's taste and tummy to acclimate to the new recipe.

Buy the "Slices" instead
By Ashley on Oct 16, 2019
For some reason, my cat will only lick the morsels and not eat the actual pieces. He loves the Wellness Slices, but I tried buying all flavors of the morsels (because it's easier to dump out of the can without a spoon) and he didn't want any of them! I now have all these cans I don't know what to do with. I had noticed some other similar reviews and wish I heeded their advice...

Finding Nelson's food
By onie on Dec 13, 2018
Well - we struck out on the Salmon and Turkey :( He likes the separate flavors, apparently. So, Salmon and Turkey are going to cat rescue!

Yummy for my Cats!
By Momcat on Jan 25, 2018
I have two 1-year old tabbies, and they absolutely love this food! I had given them the minced version before, but they 'paws' down prefer the morsels a lot more. It has enough gravy and a great amount of chunks in there for them to actually eat. Super happy with this purchase!

Not a happy cat
By Newcatfood on Oct 21, 2017
Our cat had eaten the same Wellness Chicken and Herring food for 15 years - never hesitated. Recently we had to coax him to eat and suddenly realized the label was different and so is the consistency!!! He hates it and we're stumped.

quality food
By ZeeBop on Nov 19, 2017
I have to change up the food regularly, since our cats get bored very easily. Wellness is one of my go-to brands because of the quality and variety.

cat devours this
By kitty on Jul 16, 2017
My cat absolutely loves this line. We try to get him different flavors from this line and he eats all of them. We tried switching it up to a different product and he would eat those a lot slower or would have leftovers. I personally like this flavor coz it has no chicken in the ingredients. We've been trying to keep the chicken to a minimum coz he seemed to have an allergic reaction to something and we wanted to test if it was the chicken. So far no more swollen lip so we're keeping the chicken at bay.

My cats love it
By Dina on Mar 29, 2016
I went through a period of time where I couldn't find a food that both my cats and I agreed on. It was agonizing to see them moping arround because their tummys weren't happy. I wanted food that had great ingredients and tasted great. Well I finally found it with this food. I alternate between the salmon and the turkey and salmon. I feed them three times a day. Wet and dry food. They are so happy now, they eat well and play hard! We are one happy family.

My Kitties Like This
By mjluvscats on Apr 19, 2016
I have two 10 year old female kitties. They are a bit picky, as most cats are. They seem to like this food.
