I transitioned my cat from Friskies to Wellness last year. She certainly was not as thrilled with it as the Friskies at first, but now that it has been about a year she seems fine with it. I imagine it is like switching from junk food to a healthy diet, which would be hard for anyone. The only flavor I transitioned my cat from Friskies to Wellness last year. I imagine it is like switching from junk food to a healthy diet, which would be hard for anyone. The only flavor that she is reluctant to eat is the chicken. She will eat it eventually, but out of the three it is the most likely to sit in her bowl. I feel a bit bad about it, so I often reach for the other flavors and end up with a bunch of chicken cans sitting in the back of the cupboard. Sometimes after she makes it through a can of chicken (this takes two days) I give her a can of Friskies as a sort of reward. I wish there were a variety pack with more fish flavors, or at the very least one without plain chicken. I have tried both the pate and minced, and she really does not care for the chicken in either. This time around I think I will buy a 24 pack of one flavor instead of buying the variety pack, which is a shame. My cat is a little over 11lbs and I feed her 1/4 of a 5 oz can twice a day, as well as 1/8 cup of dry food twice a day (this is what my vet recommended for her weight and activity level). My cat hasn't had any stomach issues with Wellness, as far as I can tell. She rarely throws up, and when she does it is usually hairball related. Her coat is glossy and she seems to have good energy for an 8-year-old cat. … more

Kitties fave.

Love this product. Cats love this. I mix it with our own home cooked cat food and also as a treat at night. Has none of the junk found in mainstream cat food. Best thing, I don't have to go to the store. It comes to us! Thanks Chewy!

Won't Eat This Food

Our cats aren't extremely picky, but for some reason they won't touch this food.

My cat loves this food!
By RobinS on Oct 31, 2020
Tried this based on the reviews. My cat is not overly picky, but he absolutely loves this food! Scarfs it up as soon as I put it in his bowl. He has a sensitive stomach but has had no issues with this food in that regard either.

Cat refused
By Tina on Sep 19, 2020
My cat refused to eat all three flavors, rather went hungry all day. Gave the cans to a friend and her cat refused to eat them as well.

Wellness Variety Pack

My cats love Wellness Brand. Generally, I will get this poultry variety pack, although they sometimes have digestive issues with the chicken. Wish there were other variety packs available.

Dented cans
By JuneandZiggy on Jun 27, 2020
I ordered in bulk to make more affordable, but the cans were all dented in shipping. Still, cats love the food and gobble it up.
