We've been getting this along with several other flavours of the grain free Wellness wet foods for years, with no issue. A couple orders ago, we noticed the label had changed, and one of our cats suddenly won't touch this one. The other still eats it just fine, and they both finish off all the other flavours, but the one cat won't go near this one, even if we put in his favourite raw toppers.
I bought the cans because they were bigger in ounces and I thought I'd save a little money. Bu I was disappointed by the consistency. There was hardly any gravy in the cans. So, I will continue to buy it in the pouch version which has the gravy my cats enjoy even though overall it will cost me more.
After my vet asked me to remove dry cat food from my cat's diet I tried many grain-free wet foods that she would eat. Her favorites are IAM perfect portion chicken cuts. Her second favorite was Wellness gravies in a three ounce can. Cat tolerated it well. To save a bit of money I ordered the 5 ounce can pack. What an absolute disappointment. There is little or no gravy in the larger can, the consistency was almost pate like (which she will not eat). Cat refused to eat it. I'm going to try the 3 ounce can once again and keeping my fingers crossed.
My cat absolutely loves this food. It doesn't have a bad smell like wet cat foods do. It felt like it had less artificial flavoring compared to others. I have switched to raw diet now but he loved this when he was eating this.
Like others here, noticed Wellness changed the formula of the food. My picky cat ate this for years but no longer. You can tell the change in food by the new cans. Wellness what have you done? Lost a customer.
My cat loves this food. It’s a treat for him as he was on dry food for years! His coat is completely different, no mats. It’s not inexpensive, I feel it is a luxury item…
My cat only eats wet food with gravy.. this is DEFINITELY NOT THAT....... it is more like Pate....... I am having to mix it with other food to try to get him to eat it........
Too bad, they loved it. Then a few months ago, we noticed different packaging. Then we see the texture has changed. Cats won’t eat it. Wasn’t broken, not sure why they changed the formula. They’ve lost our business.
She loved this, I’ve been trying to find a healthy ingredient cat food that she will eat and she loves this. It’s been a struggle but here it is. Time to try other flavors.
Unfortunately, as others have noted, Wellness moved all of their manufacturing to Thailand, and with that move came a very noticeable change in texture/consistency, possibly also taste but I obviously have no way of knowing whether there's an issue with that. Either way, our cat refuses to eat it. We've already switched to another brand. Kind of concerning in terms of quality control since this is such a huge issue across all of their different varieties/flavors.
