The best way to transition onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet. Mixing the food will allow the dog to acclimate to the new taste and not overindulge on the new food.
I add canned Salmon to dry Wellness for my two dogs, a 6 yr old Mini Schnauzer and a 10 yr old Pomeranian mix. Both dogs devour the meal. Their coats are healthy and thick. Very active animals.

I get my dog the best dry food I can get.. she eats better than I do.. but she just doesn't like kibble.. this salmon is the perfect topper for her dry salmon food! Simple ingredients and seems to be high quality. I use just a tbsp on her food and she absolutely loves it. And I love that it is a healthy fat for her.
SO HARD TO OPEN
on Dec 14, 2019
The food maybe good but the can is sooooo HARD to open, unless you want to spend half an hour in opening the can for your doggie on Monday morning. There are same quality canned food out there with far easier open method. Hope Wellness R&D team can improve their package!
It is fishy but OK

Because my dog has allegies, we have to find a dog food that ONLY had fish in it, not turkey, chicken, broth or whatever. We had a great food that our dog loved at Pet Supermarket but for some reason, they got rid of it. So we had to go with this food. Tink loved it at first but now she does not really like it as she turns her nose up on it. So now we are in search of another can food for hr.
LOVED THE SALMON “AT HELLO”!!

I am so pleased to say my dogs loved this Salmon dinner. One of my dogs is, extremely, picky and she couldn’t get enough.
She dug in!!

I ordered this for my 5 year old blue nose pit who can be a finicky eater. She was prescribed Royal canin high energy to gain weight, however it is very costly. This proved to be a very desirable replacement as she dug right in the minute the bowl hit the floor. I will definitely continue purchasing this as a alternative!
My poodle was happy!

My dog loved this salmon flavor! I had been giving him the chicken flavor, but thought that I would change it up a little. I chose the salmon and he seemed to really enjoy this flavor. His bowl was clean after breakfast and dinner!
Picky Eater’s Favorite

My dog absolutely loves this as a topper with her Wellness core ocean dry food. My dog has poultry allergies so I’m happy this product works for her diet. It does have a strong smell that attracts all the dog and cat noses in my house! I use one can over three days, feeding 1/3 of the can as a topper with dinner. I haven’t had any problems with the salmon not staying fresh refrigerated or my picky dog not wanting to eat it.
DOG WITH ALLERGIES
on Jul 18, 2019
I ordered this food as our labrodoodle is allergic to all protein except for salmon and lamb. She also allergic to most grains and alfalfa. She is diabetic and has a hard time. We mix this with Canadae limited ingredient and She eats it up..
Love Chewy's with a 8 dog family it has made life much easier.
Fresh is Best

Gracie's favorite is Wellness Chicken canned since we rescued her Feb 2018. We decided to try out this 95% Salmon especially due to very nutritional ingredients. We follow Vet's instruction to only use these wet food can food ONLY as a flavorful topper to dry (I call her dessert treat). This means no more than 1/3 can per day and placing unused portion in an air tight container (not in can) in fridge for no more than 2 days per vet. Gracie eagerly eats canned salmon when first opened, but she will NOT touch her food when day old salmon is added. BOTTOM LINE: Great product, but does NOT maintain freshness in spite of being attentive to detail.
