My Pomeranian loves these treats and I love that they help keep him healthy and happy. These are salmon flavored, but do not smell fishy at all. The treats smell better than fish flavored foods that I have purchased from other brands for my dog. My dog gets really excited when he sees the container of treats and he can't get enough of it. I would recommend this product if you would like to give your dog the benefits of eating fish and omega-3 fatty acids without having to deal with the fish smell.
My lab/pit mix Sadie loves these treats. When they first arrived I think they were frozen from being outside. She chewed on her cute little heart shaped treat for a few seconds, then dropped it on the floor and picked it up again. I kinda like that it took her longer to eat it. When they are room temperature, she gobbles them up pretty fast. Honestly, I'm not sure how much they are doing for immunity and allergies because we have only been using them for about a week, but she does love them. The treats look like heart shaped truffles. They have this brown powdery look to the outside, reminds me of truffles coated in cocoa powder. Thank you for letting us test these out! I also love the container. Sturdy plastic with a screw on lid and wide opening so they're easy to grab! (trying to add a picture but having a hard time!)
We have three dogs in the household. Two long-haired Chihuahuas and one rat terrier. First, I gave it to the oldest long-haired Chihuahua and she wouldn’t take it from my hand. She sniffed it and walked away. Then I tried to give it to her daughter, and she took it, but then put it down on the floor and walked away. Later I tried to give one to the male rat terrier, and he wouldn’t take it from my hand. 0 out of 3 dogs would eat it. It would’ve been awesome if they gad liked them because all three of them have allergies and I was hoping that the 2 that are the most hindered by them would no longer have to take Benadryl. My rat terrier is not a picky dog so I tried several more times to get him to eat one and he would not. I’m sure they would be great for a pup that will eat them.
My dog hasn't finished the container yet, so I can only review based on her usage so far. I was really excited for these, but my dog didn't seem too interested in them. The first few days I had to smother them in bacon grease to entice her. Now she's less reluctant and will take them, but she still doesn't seem super enthusiastic. I thought they would have a stronger salmon smell/flavor. I do like that they are soft chews, and the ingredients are good. She usually chews and bites at her paws during seasonal allergy times. It's too early to tell to what extent they are working, but I have noticed slightly less scratching and gnawing on her paws.
I received this product a few weeks ago to try out with my dog. My dog seems to enjoy eating this supplement every morning. I have noticed that she doesn't seem to lick as much since taking these. I love that it has a great mix of antioxidants, probiotics, and omega-3 fatty acids. I appreciate that these are also made in the US. I, myself, take supplements and I thought it was a great idea to try them on my dog. These are scientifically formulated to support a healthy immune system and alleviate seasonal allergies. Our dog has her well-check visit at the end of the month and I will be curious to see if her bloodwork improves.
I received this product for free through a sponsored program. We were able to try the Wellness Shield Immunity/Allergy Salmon Flavor Chew Supplements. At first, my dog did not like eating the supplement as is so I had to add a little peanut butter to it and my Tito just gobbled it down. With the snow melting and pollen beginning to be a problem, it was the perfect time to start giving him these and I truly have seen a difference in how many fewer times I hear him sneeze, if at all anymore! Also, his skin doesn't get so irritated and red anymore which is so good to see and be able to know that these supplements are actually doing something for him from the inside out and acts as a snack for him. Would recommend it to anyone whose dog suffers from allergies.
I received this product for free through a sponsored program. I've got a jar of Dogs Daily Health Supplement from Wellness and Ripplestreet in exchange for my honest review. It came in well packed and sealed. I've got the Wellness Shield - Immune Health & Seasonal Allergy Support Chews in Salmon flavor. This product is made with prebiotics and probiotics to support healthy gut and immune health of your pups. This has antioxidants, omega fatty acids, and mushroom for skin and coat health and supports pets with seasonal allergies. My 2 dogs are very prone to allergies especially in the summer. Just last summer, we probably been to the Vet 6times due to chewing and scratching. I'm hoping this will help them. There's instructions on the jar as to how many you should give your pup depending on their weight. They were confused at first, but still chewed it after a minute. Our KittyDoodle seemed to like it, as she'd smell it then tried licking before finally chewing it. Our Bacon dachshund on the otherhand, ignored it at first. I guess he's only waiting for Kitty to finish hers before he starts with his. It's just how they rule in this household lol.
My dog has been using these for about 10 days. At first she wasn't sure, she is always cautious about new things, but now she loves them and gets super excited when she sees me get the container. I like that they are soft treats and the little heart shape is cute. Wellness is a great brand so I feel good giving her these and they seem to have helped some with her paw licking and chewing due to seasonal allergies. Hopefully these will keep her comfortable this allergy season!
I recieved this product for free through a sponsored program in exchange for my honest review. My dog Ziggy suffers from allergies. Sometimes her ears are a lityle red, nasal discharge, some sneezing, and bites at her foot occasionally. I love the heart shape of the product and she absolutely lives the smell of the salmon. A lityle powder comes of the supplement, but it is not serious. I am hoping this helps in adfition to her allergy medicine..as the allergy medicines does not always work fully. This supplement provides immune system support to help a dog deal with environmental allergies. It contains probiotics, omega 3, and other ingredients to help an allergic dog. I don't know if it will help, but I do like giving my dog who does have allergies supplements for her immune system.
I’ve been giving these to my dog who’s 6 for about 2 weeks now I believe, and haven’t had any problems in regards to her not taking them or enjoying them. I guess she sort of sees them as treats which is nice. Would I recommend these? I’d say so, haven’t thought about purchasing dog vitamins until after getting these, so I definitely would get more of either the same or different ones for the future.
