It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5 - 7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness Simple each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness Simple by day 7. This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing dogs over one year old as puppies and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements.

Nothing better for allergies!
By Lisa555888 on Feb 22, 2021
My dog has horrible allergies, hot spots and ear infections. For years he was on Natural Balance Duck and at least in the winter he did not itch, but not this past winter. My dogs allergies got worse and worse and the skin infections are out of control. I switched to this food and in less than a week NO MORE ITCHING. To be honest, the itching was driving me nuts too. Thank goodness for Wellness! I have my other two on Wellness Complete Chicken and Oatmeal because they have sensitive digestive systems. Love Wellness!!

Never consistent batches
By BootyJudy on Jan 10, 2021
Transitioned my sensitive stomach dog to this formula (after being prescribed expensive Purina food *heavy sigh) and in the 1 year we have gotten at least 3 bags that’s smelled GROSS. My dog literally went on hunger strikes and lost weight. He ate other foods no problem but for some reason the “inconsistent” bags always put him off. We’re finally stopping this food and going to try out the Merrick & Canidae (and hopefully) find a winner. Very sad that it’s come to this :(

SMELLS LIKE RANCID OIL
By zookeeper on Dec 30, 2020
I'm into my second bag of this food for my dog and I was hoping that the first bag was a fluke. No such luck. This food smells like rancid oil/petroleum/burning plastic. It's acrid and burns the back of my throat and in my nose. I was really wanting this food to be "the one", but I'll be transitioning him to something else. As bad as it smells, I can't imagine that it's good for him to eat. I recommend that no one buys this and looks at other food.

Terrible Smell
By Rits on Dec 21, 2020
I bought this food because my dog Koko has food sensitivity but LOVES duck. I was hoping this would be a great solution to the problem, but I opened the bag and it smells awful. I can't even describe how terrible this food smells. It doesn't even smell like real food, it's more like a manufactured dusty smell.

Dog won't eat this
By Nope on Jan 2, 2021
Trying to find a food for my GSD with food allergies. He is always eager to eat but this stuff he wouldn't touch. It did not smell good to me. I tried a few times to give him this but he refused every time. more $$$ down the drain.

Worked for our pups sensitive stomach
By Chris on Dec 21, 2020
Switched to this from their fish based dry food. Our dog is allergic to chicken and the fish one was great for a few months but he started having digestive issues again. This duck based limited ingredient instantly fixed his issues when we switched over.

Awful smell
By Poodlemom on Nov 8, 2020
After years of feeding Zignature, we had to switch to this to try because of our senior’s stomach issues. The food smells so bad though. I’m not sure if it’s the ingredients or the bag but it smells like plastic. I poured half of the bag in our vault and every morning when I open it, the smell just hits me like I ton of bricks. Our guy is a small poodle and I wish I had bought a smaller bag.

Absolutely disgusting
By Dogfood on Dec 5, 2020
Worst dry dog food and most expensive in 13 years. It smelled so rancid, it infected my whole kitchen and laundry room with the putrid smell. Had to throw it out. No way I'd feed it to my beautiful, healthy fur babies.

And tasty too!
By Results on Dec 13, 2020
My dog has been having stomach issues and his vet recommended this food. He is tolerating it very well and likes the flavor too! A miracle for my very picky eater!

Both my Westy and my cockapoo do not like this food. They both refuse to eat it.
